I lost my bike today.Do this happen to you?

I had a bike stolen years ago. It was chained to a fence post. When I came to get it, it was gone, and the chain was lying on the ground with part of it cut in half. Someone had brought chain cutters and cut the chain out in the open in broad daylight! It wasn't even that expensive a bike.

My husband also lost his most treasured expensive bike some years ago and although he has already replaced with new one the thought that it got stolen still drives him crazy! Imagine you buy it from your hard earned money and then here is a demonic creature just stealing it from you. Anyway the thief may really go unpunished if not caught but surely God has a way of punishing people because no sin is hidden from him as his eyes are everywhere beholding the evil and the good alike. So vengeance is mine said the Lord... Cheer up young man and don't worry sooner or later you can buy a new one. But next time around be very careful ok!

I have experienced this for many times...er..about 3 or4 times. I can't remember exactly. The most recently was last September. I bought a new bike in the middle of September and i lost it at the end of September. Is it very bad? And what made me most upset was that my bike was stolen in the campus!!Gee..I can't understand why such things could happen in campus!! But i bought anoter one several days after my car was stolen.

That's terrible. I am so sorry that that had to happen to you. I hope you have some alternative means of getting about until you are able to replace it. Here's hoping the thief just needed a loan, and you'll find it back where you left it later on.

I had a similar experience.Once I parked my car in a multi-leveled parking area which was quite long and had identical appearances and numbers. After shopping, I went to the parking lot looking for my car. I couldn't find it. I thought my car was stolen. I went to the parking attendant asking him to help me to look for my car. I told him my car plate number . Finally he managed to find it. He said new visitors always had the same problems, bacause it used colors to distinguish different regions but newcomers didn't know it.

I loaned my bike to my son last year and somebody stole it off his porch! My own fault, since I meant to ask him to lock it up, but never did. Apparently it might not have done any good anyway! I'm not so upset about losing the bike, except that it was a gift.

I'm sorry that this happened to you. This has happened to my children in the past and it's a very sad feeling to realize that something you need is gone. I hope you get it back.
