My travel to Vigan is a walk through History. I was so facinated, the cobblestones, the street lamps, brick houses, feels like I am in Europe. I fell in love with Vigan. The place is so beautiful and rich in culture. It makes me feel that I am living in the past. This is because Vigan still has all those spanish houses built way way back when the Philippines were still under spanish rule.

Hi DudaYLen, the heritage city is a very good place to visit. Yup, walking through the cobblestones and brick houses is fascinating. Seems you are in the Spanish era. I have been there twice already and I will still want to go back there. Other things that you got to enjoy in Vigan are their empanadas, special bibingka, and longganisa. I hope you were able to taste them or buy some when you visited the place. The Sukang Iloco tastes good too. Have a great day!

I hope I could also visit Vigan soon. It is one of the places in Luzon that I want to visit. Though I know the chances is very slim, yet I will continue to dream, who knows one day...

I have never been there, Mare. I know that from my history class that Vigan is really beautiful. And what you've said about the cobblestones you can really find it here in Europe, especially in Belgium and brick houses...hmmm..really sounds like Europe... interesting! Thank you for the info mare. I'll add this in my vacation list ;).. who knows.

Hi! Wow! Ive always wanted to go to Vigan. Its like one of the places that I really really want to visit and live in for maybe at least a week. I feel that it takes me back to the old times and its kind of a mix of the old things with the new times. I just love those kinds of old houses and cobblestones even when I havent been there. Oh I envy you! Im pretty sure you had a nice trip....Europe..?Oh right! like the streets and houses in Spain.^_^ I just love them. Ive always wanted to learn Spanish but my parents dont want me. They think its just a waste of time, money and effort. Maybe because its their money but I really really wanted to learn other languages. Now that Im not a kid anymore, Im doubting that Ill ever learn other languages fluently. Thanks for sharing your trip. Maybe someday I will get there too.^_^
