I think that they are fine as long as people are responsible, each person knows that it is only a one night stand, they use protection and have to one night stand in a neutral place rather than at one of the people's house as then they can leave on the morning when they want and neither person knows where the other lives, so nothing bad will happen at a later date eg stalking etc.

OK if youre using protection both parties not just one, stupid if you go into one thinking that it will "be ok" pregnancy is the least of the things they need to worry about but still people do it and arent safe.

I think there are too many risks that come with one-night stands. You are putting yourself into a situation that could be life-changing. How could ONE night be worth a life-time of pain? I just don't see how it's possible. It's not a situation that I would be willing to put myself in.
