what would you consider a true friend

okay the past few weeks, which are my last few of my first year of uni and in halls i notice the people i made friends with are not the sort of people i thought i knew when i first meet them. like i made some great friends, who i would called a true friend,i mean the weekend show me who my true friends are. i mean the friends i got at home when i told what happened their were not pleased and annoy that someone that upset me and were like she better watch out. so is a true friend, someone you care and their do the same, you can ask them for advice when need and giving them advice when their ask, just be their for them,so in person, over the phone,or internet.in my eyes my true friends are like a second family to me,is that true to a certain point or do you have a different viewpoint

There are many people you can consider as friends, but only a few of them are considered as your true friend. A true friend needs not to be of the same point of view as yours. You may have certain differences. But for me a true friend is someone you can open the most inner secret that you have. This is a kind of friend that would tell you that you are wrong and showing you the way to make it right. A true friend is someone that is honest on what he/she feels about you. True friends are not easy to find. The real essence of friendship is tested through time. If you can survive the test of time, then you can consider your friend as a friend to keep. A friend for life. A true and real friend.

I can understand of your point of view. In my opinion, a friend in need is a friend indeed. I think true friends should help each other, support each other and care for each other. A true friend is someone who can give you useful advice when you are in difficulty and who can listen to you with silence when you are unhappy.
