I recently found out that the puppy I got was from a puppy mill. If you don't know what it is you should youtube it and it'll show you some pretty awful stuff. In fact, Oprah just did an entire segment on it. Just thought I would get the word out there how bad it can be so hopefully people will go to shelters/actual breeders instead of the petstore where most of the puppy mill animals are sold.

Many peple dont have the faintest idea baout puppy mills or pet breeders, by pet breeders those who dont health check or just breed for money etc rahter than for bettering the breed. Puppy farms are horrendos, and I dont want to hear the 'but at least I saved a puppy' arguement, did you know for every puppy someone buys that condemns the female or another female to yet another litter, you may save one puppy but all the while poeple buy the puppy farms will supply, supply and demand etc. The conditions these dogs live in exceed anything you have ever seen, and they will stay there until they outlive their usefullness, then well the best they can hope for is some rescue centre takes them maybe rehomes them if they are not past help, the worst thing that happens....well i think you can figure out what these heartless puppy farmers do.

Yes, I know all about puppy mills, and it's sinful. However, if ignorant people would stop buying "doodle designer dogs" from pet stores, there would be no demand. It's incumbant on the people buying the dogs to make sure they know where the animal comes from.

Yes most pet store dogs are from puppy mills. It's long been known. There even have been occasions where people asked the store about it and they were either lied to or informed that it would be the only way to stay in business. Go figure!
