Crosswords, or sudoku

I do sudoku puzzles all the time. My favorite word puzzle used to be logic problems and I still do them occasionally. I was interested in sudoku for a long time but have never been a fan of number problems. One day, a friend gave me a sudoku book for a gift that had really clear instructions and I finally understood the point to the puzzle. For those who haven't tried sudoku, it's basically a logic problem with numbers instead of words and it is very easy to do. It's well worth the effort to learn how to complete these if you enjoy logic problems, especially.

It's crossword puzzles for me. I also play Sudoku but not that much. I like crosswords because it enhances my vocabulary.

I love both, but haven't done a puzzle in ages. Tell ya what, I used to do TV crosswords, and older people are amazed when I understand references from old shows I've never even seen on TVLand. People can learn a lot from puzzles, even if it's only keeping the brain in shape and ready to think. I didn't try sudoko tho up until a couple years ago. Those are great. The harder ones can be frustrating at times, but that's what the copy machine is for, lol. I always make at least 2 extra copies in case I really screw it up before I get it right finally. To answer your question tho, I never thought about which one I prefer. I really don't want to choose--it's a mood kind of thing. Sometimes I'm in a word mood and sometimes I'm in a numbers mood--occasionally I even brave a logic problem when I'm feeling froggy. :D

I have tried sudoku and it really is satisfying when you get the whole puzzle out but I have to be really patient to do them. I prefer crosswords because I love words and I enjoy learning new meanings of words. Yeah I'm more of a word fan than a numbers fan but I do enjoy sudoku ocassionally for a change.
