Is ebay still a money maker with the right product?

Ebay seems to me to be the only place that people would use and i am thinking about setting up a shop on ebay as the shop fees are not too bad. What i am worried about naturally is getting the product right and making money as i do not want to be paying out with nothing coming in and i have heard that ebay used to be a lot cheaper than it is now. Craigs list is supposed to be good but it does not have a rep like ebay does it or does it.

For my own experiences on ebay, ebay is not a money maker. I don't like ebay because it doesn't help me to earn money rather waste my money. I haven't earn any money using ebay, but I have spent almost $20 to sell my products on ebay. Therefore, I don't think ebay is a money maker.

The traffic is still coming to Ebay, they may look elsewhere, but Ebay is still the first stop. List your item at a price you are comfortable selling for and if you have a popular item, it should receive bids. I'm using a Free tool that makes you money on Ebay and promotes your listings at the same time. Check my profile, there's a link in the bottom right corner. Free to join, free and easy to use and I made money with it on my last group of auctions! Good luck selling your items!
