hello miachen, this best way that i can tell you how to raise a guinea pig is to give it it's piggy food, which you can buy at the walmart really cheap. they also need their timothy hay to eat as well, b/c it helps their teeth grow, and plus it has enough of calcium to give to them to keep them healthy. they cannot eat meat, etc. b/c they are herbivores, meaning that they can only stomach plant foods, veggies,etc. If you are wanting to raise a pig, i suggest that you see www.guinealynx.com. this site has a lot of useful information to learn FIRSTLY about guinea pigs, what to feed them, how to care for them, how to keep them healthy.
