I don't have anything against smoking, just don't smoke near my kids..You know, second hand smoking can kill too..I smoked too since I was in high school but had to give it up because I don't want my kids to do the same..When my eldest was about 3 years old, he saw me one time and he didn't forget about it ever since..I was ashamed of myself.I thought, how can I ask him not to smoke, when I am doing it too? So, that made me stop. Besides, my husband doesn't have any vices. It's a tough call when it comes to our kids.So would you allow him/her?

I'm a smoker before, I'm still single but If I had a child I will not allow my child to smoke. We already know the effects of smoking to our health and to second hand smoker too. But there are theory that once a parents does smoke or smoke before the children will adapt it in the future, I don't know if its true but we studied about this.
And as I observed, it really happens. Some incidents happen because of curiosity or social orientation.
Well, as long as we can orient a child at the very early age I think we can prevent them from any vices.
Have a nice day!

As a non smoker and someone who has never even considered it.....no I would never allow my child to smoke. I think anyone that would allow this is just setting the child up for an extra health concern that they may otherwise never have to deal with. Congrats on stopping smoking.....KUDOS to you!!
