When I first saw oasis it was the video " Roll with it" wherein they were all wearing white overalls, sporting mod hair and neat get-ups. The concept of the video and the sound of the song kinda consist of going the other way, when during that time grunge from Seattle was so big and it was almost influential throughout the world. Well, of course Brit artists are known to be as innovators. Instead of going with the flow, they do something different without losing the essence of what they're doing. Like for example, their style. Brit musicians are more clean looking, sound was lighter but still had that edgy stuff. Lyrics are more profound and artistic, and most of the time poetic. They tend to do stuff destined to be a classic not just a hit. No wonder "Oasis" still exist until now. They continue to make music for everyone despite changing times. Long live "Oasis" and the mod culture. It evolves, innovates and gets even better and sweeter. Aye aye. Cheers.
