Do you like having meals while watching TV

Can't blame your father LOL! I know this is not a good habit, but I myself do it oftentimes and it's becoming my habit too. I'd usually watch news on Tv while having my eihter breakfast or diner. I realized lately, I seldom eat at the dining table anymore LOL! I hope it's not too late to avoid this habit though, but then I guess..what the heck!

If we are having an informal dinner (such as things we have brought in from other restaurants) then most likely we will be in front of the t.v. watching it and eating. This all depends, however, as we do not wish to be rude to his mother and father.

I like it, but I seldom watch TV when I am eating. As our table isn't close to the TV, so I can say I listen to TV only. When I traveled in Hong Kong and lived in my aunt's home. I have to say I had never faced TV so close when I had a meal. The house is pretty small there. I love China

I get to watch the televsion only during breakfast and dinner. So I always sit in front of the tv and have my meals. I dont sit at the dining table at all now.

Yup all my family likes to eat infront of the television..It's enjoying and I dont think it's unethical..We're not in a restaurant so I can do whatever I please..It's been our habit since I was a kid..

i have never been allowed to watch television during dinner as my parents feel that it is family time. since my dad works in shifts, we usually do not have bonding time together. so whenever we are together we make the most out of it and just have dinner on the dining table. it is not really difficult for me to prevent myself from watching television during dinner as i was trained since young and it has became a habit.

Oh lyn, you are sweet! Even I eat food infront of my television. I try to utilise all the time I get on coming back from office and my eating takes time for I do two things together. And my mom scolds me as well. but I have gotten used to it. lol..

I love eating in front of the TV. Sitting at the kitchen table is just too boring. I was raised eating at the kitchen table and for me there was no talking because kids are to be seen and not heard so where is the fun in eating at the table. NO fun there.

Hello dear lynettebyc. I also love to eat while watching TV, especially when it is broadcasting news at home and abroad, which interests me a lot. Sometimes my wife asks me not to sit before the TV set, watching TV while eating, but I just cannot help. It is the same with my son. Thank you for your discussion, dear friend.

I must admit I do it sometimes myself if I am alone but usually as a family we will all eat around the table. Ellie :D

Sometimes I will do it ,if I see a good plays on TV ,I will watch it until it finished whether having meal or washing cloth or anythings. In that time ,my mom or dad always blame me ,but I can't their sound .

Hi.I am with you. I usually watch TV when having meals especially having dinner. Because it was the time of broadcast news.I can know the news about the whole day.It is wonderful.
