When it comes to deciding between plasma vs. LCD flat-panel TVs,several considerations come into play, including price, size and picture quality. Is one type better than the other?which one is better?

I think both are great and expensive too compared to ordinary TV. Though maybe plasma TV's are better. Can't realy differentiate the two perfectly because I havent tried to use any of both. By the way are you using plasma? or LCD TV...

I still haven't tried both, when it comes to TV sets. LCD monitors, in computers, is a little better than the CRT monitors. But LCD monitors has a big difference viewing it from the near sight and from a far distance. I still don't have an idea of what is a plasma monitor, but when it comes to TV viewing, I guess both will never be compared with the traditional CRT monitors. Anyway friend, I guess I will never expect myself to have either of the two. First and foremost is the price...

LCD is usually cheaper than plasma. However there is still drawback of LCD monitor compare to the traditional CRT monitor. Firstly the refresh rates is slower so if you are watching fast moving objects like car racing or actions movie you might encounter the delay of the screen refresh rates. Secondly some LCD monitor cannot be watch from a certain degree angle away from the screen. You will find it totally blank therefore you must sit at least straight towards the screen to watch it perfectly. As for plasma it is very good. But because it made of plasma the heating is quite fast and maybe potential to spoilage. And also very expensive compare to LCD and CRT. However this is better than LCD i guess. As for me i still use CRT even though there's big bulging thing on the back because it is the cheapest, refresh rate is the highest, no angle view problems, and the life span also very long. It's still worth it!!.
