I've never heard of these centres - what are they like? Living in the UK I don;t think we have anything like that here.

Surgery can be a dangerous alternative to changing your eating habits and getting more exercise. I lost a friend to complications following that procedure. I have had great success in keeping the weight I lost about ten years ago off by sticking to a basically low carb diet. Quick fixes and fad diets only give temporary results.

I know what you mean - I spent 15 years battling anorexia and bulimia and now know the hard way that a good balanced diet is the best way for me. It amazes me that so many people still think to go for the quick fix solution though.

According to me the Natural way is best in every situation.Opting for surgery to reduce weight is a very extreme decision that ought to be taken only after you have tried out all other available natural options. In addition surgery may have other complications that rear their ugly head after the process is done.Ditto for pills and similar stuff. There are good natural ways to reduce weight. One should mix 1-2 teaspoons of Honey to LukeWarm Water and drink it.This is effective in weight control and reduction.Basically a balanced and healthy diet goes a long way in keeping our health and weight in check.

Diet and exercise, DEFINITELY! Do not take the easier way out. If someone disciplines themselves enough to stick to a diet and exercise regimen, they will gain A LOT more than just a slim waistline!
Talk about strengthening one's character!

I prefer the latter, less but balanced diet.
I never tried heving surgery coz I think that's causing trouble for myself.
I don't want to be skinny, and I love to be sexy.
So whenever I want to be slimmer,I prefer Yoga and Belly dance.
That's a good choice,have a try!

Surgery is definitely not good. In a sense, it disrupts the natural body as well as diet pills. The best way is to eat regularly and eat healthy. 70%,just an estimate, of losing weight is diet. Don't skip meals just take small amounts and even it throughout the day. Avoid junk/fast foods as much as possible. You can eat but should be very minimal. And of course, to top all that is to boost metabolism that uses up calories faster. Exercise regularly. Don't start and then stop for 5 days then start again. Constant exercise will increase the metabolic rate and little did you know that you're burning fat faster and most people.

If you are in diet, your weight will get reduced, but this will give you a lots of side effects.
In the recent days, most of the people are not understanding this fact, and start being in diet, in their younger ages, this will affect them in their marriage times, they have more side effects like stomac ache, and other problems, resulting in major diecesses.
So, if you need to reduce your weight, you find the alternate source other than the complete diet, you have lots of ways to reduce the weight, you can walk a long, daily, do the simple exercise at your home, take low calory food, which may helps you to control your weight.
And also, its not advisable to reduce your weight all in a sudden, its always better to reduce your weight in gradually. This will be the highgenice way of reducing your weight.

I think diet and exercise are the best you can do. Not everyone was built to be a supermodel, some are just huskier. If you exercise and diet properly you'll make it to your intended weight; it may not be fast but its the safest approach and its definitely the most rewarding.

people have come up with various marketing strategies over the years on products which supposingly helps you to shed the "blubber", If they had worked....i am sure fat people would be extinct. Diet pills comes with its side effects, and not to mention that they all go hand in hand, diet pills + Proper diet + consistent exercise=WEIGHT LOSS.
Surgery has its ups and downs too....the doctor may leave his watch in your stomach! ....just kidding....but you should always study the pros and cons of doing it the surgery way,,,,as you may still need to munch on a bunch of pills!
