Do you talking on the phone for long time regualarly..?
Yes i use to do it.. because i am working in a company like that, i use to get more calls from the clients, all the calls has been diverted to me, i suppose to answer all my boss's call and get the details then i have forwarded to my boss.
In my boss's absent i suppose to attend the call and collect the information and inturn, inform the same to my boss through phone, and get the instruction from my boss and forward the same to the person who called.
Approximately, i will attend the call more than 5 to 6 hours in a day. but not continuously.
I have a head phone facility for my phone, and use to attend the call through that only, by picking up the receiver and hold it at my ear, and hold the same till the conversation finish, its very much hard and also in the same time, i cannot work anything, since i have a head phone facility, i can use my computer while talking, and take a note of the discussion are possible.
What about you?? how long will you use to phone ??

for me, one things is to talk on the phone for a long time, more than 5 minutes is already too much for me. Although I had a 1h+ conversation on the phone with a girlfriend 1 time. and a complete different thing is to work tacking calls. I worked at a call center for 1,5 years cable tv billing support *hope I never have to do that again* and I lived.
Still, when calls were more than 5 minutes they started getting on my nerves :p

I never worked at a place where i had to attend phone calls. Being a software engineer i am not supposed to attend to many phone calls at the work place even on my mobile. We do keep the cell phones in silent mode cause it wont disturb others. Apart from work i used to talk on phone for long hours. I had one girl friend and we were living away from each other. So every night i used to talk to her for long hours atleast for 3 or 4 hours a day. Its not that i cannot handle other works while talking to my gf but most of the times i prefer staying alone while talking to her. Anyways that relationship is a past and now i am not talking to anyone on phone for long hours.

I don't have a job that kind of yours but I sometimes talk over my cellphone with my sister. She's always my caller. We talk maximum of 30 minutes. Sometimes a friend of mine will call, minimum of 3 minutes. I don't chat much. Before I used to talk until morning with a friend using landline or wired phone.

Nope.
I am not a phone person.
I can sit at the desk and exchange 100 emails a day with someone but I rather not talk on the phone usually.
It is not that I have a phobia of talking to people or anything but that's just my preference.

I don't really talk for a long time on the phone but when it's summer break, this is one my means of communication with my friends. So whenever they call, we usually talk for more than 3 hours on the phone - just chatting and doing some catching up. My dad gets mad when this happens but nevertheless, he understands.

i am not one to talk on the phone much. i usually have a reason if i need to make a call and then once i find out what i needed i really do not find the need to chat longer. i prefer to be in touch via email or in person. i am to busy to just sit and chat on the phone for any length of time.

I hate talking on the phone. When some one calls, I tell them to hurry up. But when someone calls me, I usually just hang up if they talk to long.

yes i talk on the phone for a long time since me and my boyfriend have a long distance relationship. we do used cellphone because it is more cheaper. we talk most of the time even if we are eating. so in that case, it seems that he is just near me though he is physically not with me. We used head phones for that matter. also aside from that, i work in a callcenter so most of the time also i receive and take calls from clients.

As phone usage becomes more and more commonplace around the world , we have to concerns about their effects on health.
somebody gonna feel bad and get ear pain for long time telephone usage. That is because of the the voice from the telephone receiver keep vibrating the the eardrum. The eardrum does not have a good rest . Like we keep listening music with the earphone .
Now when this thing happened , just let your ears take a good rest ,and never use earphone for some time.
And the principle of the telephone of cellphone is different , cause the telephone is based on the electricity line. but cellphone is of electric and magnetic fields .
So do not worry too much for that .
Have a nice day for you .

I don't like talking on the phone much to people, especially at certain times. Sometimes I'm just really distracted and talking on the phone is annoying to me. Sometimes I have other pressing things to do and the person on the other end just won't stop talking to me. So it really just depends on how much I really feel like talking on the phone or talking to someone in general.

I often do it, it's cause there is something like tariff war between operator on Indonesia. So fare to telephone is quite cheap. I often talking with my boyfriend for hours due to the fare is cheap. LOL It makes my ear a little tired
