We when I was young we had a New Zealand Sheep dog. She would have litters of 12-15 puppies. We would breed her with another NZ sheep dog, as a that time they were pretty rare in America. A friend of my grandparents had brought some over anf bread them here.

Wow ... I was shocked when my husband said she had 10 ... Ive never heard of so many ... I must live in the dark ... 12-15 is incredible!!

My father-in-law had a rottweiler that had 19 puppies, but only 14 of them survived. I don't know how the poor thing did it!
