I actually have been to Boracay last April, and it was my first! I was really excited and took pictures of anything and everything under the Boracay sun. :) However, I haven't seen any celebrity (yeah, I know I'm such a loser to even think of wanting to meet somebody famous.) Anyhow, what about you? have you been there? :)

I think so too, yet people are commenting on me that there are other places in the Philippines worth seeing for. :) Boracay is just a party place for the socialites. Yes, there are white sand and calm waves, but the downside, it was mossy. :(

Not been there yet, my wife, a Filipina from Bacolod City, wants to take me there the next time we visit the Philippines, she says its the most wonderful place to go.
I also want to see the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, hope they are as good as the guide books say.

Boracay is a nice place but I haven't been to Choc Hills yet. I do hope it's also a nice place.

You'll find this place teeming with local and foreign tourists. It's such a hit to many US tourists.

Every year, i have to go to Boracay to compete in the dragonboat competition. I must say i'm pretty fortunate because of this. ^_^
i totally agree with you on that. Boracay is one of the finest places i've been to. I just hope it'd remain that pretty for a long time and not get too polluted...

I've been to Boracay and it is one of the best beaches that I've visited. It has really beautiful white sand and very soft to the feet, that you can't help but take off your shoes and enjoy nature. The water is warm and very relaxing. The crowds are from all walks of life, so it's a great place to people-watch. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from and the food choices are excellent from Filipino to international flavor. There are a lot of other activities to do aside from water-related ones, e.g. golfing, shopping for souvenirs, dancing at night at the clubs, touring the inner side of Boracay, and many more. There is something for everybody and it's one place that I will visit again and will recommend highly to everyone. Have fun!
