How did you feel now hearing this predictions that the world will end on 2012?

Yes I know what you mean - not sure about the world ending on that exact date, but this much is sure - we are living in the last days and the Bible prophecies are coming to pass in vast numbers! The crazy weather patterns all over the place, globalization as far as China & India gaining financial power and the US slowly diminishing and becoming weaker, chips starting to be put in children so you can lojack them and figure out where they are, food scarcity, Middle East starting to rise (Babylon will rise in the last days), the evilness of the people - rejection of God and His ways (just think about all the ways people are trying to take God out of the US in prayer, money, speaking, etc.). I just want to be ready when the rapture takes place - I do not want to be around for the tribulation period!

Hi celestial, I do believe we may be living in the end times. The world seems to be getting worse everyday. But you are right when you say that the Bible says that no one knows the exact time. No one but the Father knows the time or the hour. The question is, are you ready for His coming? He can come at any time. It could be today, tomorrow, months from now, maybe even centuries from now. The time will be perfect. As Christians, this Day will be glorious for we shall see our Lord and Savior and be taken Home to be with Him forever! God bless!

Well I first heard it on here a few weeks ago. Then I thought it was a bunch of crap. But when I searched it on the web it started to creep me out they did a special on this on the history channel which I found on youtube. But I really dont think the world will end because so many people have made predictions when the world will end and they all have been wrong and the world wont end untill our sun blows up then thats the end.

Nobody knows when the world will end. If anyone thinks it will end in 2012 I'll come back here on January 1, 2013 and ask you what happened.

to be honest i have trouble just getting through one day at a time. if i were to project this far into the future i would be paralyzed in this spot and do nothing productive. i cannot let my mind go to these kinds of places. i try to focus on the here and now. i have enough problems without worrying about the world ending and frankly it would lead me to wonder what the point of living now is if it is all just going to end abruptly. do not want to go there.

Your right. The Bible plainly states that no man knows the time of the end. I feel we are living near the end times, but I can't say when. A lot of people thought the world was ending in 1999. Here it is 2008 and we are still here. When someone gives me a exact date of when the end will come I stay away from them! I feel we need to live one day at a time and like today may be your last. I'm by no means perfect and I mess up daily, but I do try and do better each day that God gives me that other day. I try and make sure I ask him to forgive me of my sins and things I should have done and didn't, before I go to sleep.

You are right that no one knows when the world will end. Some things are put out there for people to read just because they sound like they could be feasable. Like the Y2K thing. A lot of people were really scared and stock piled food and water and all kinds of stuff because they thought we might be facing a national or world catastrophe brought on by the computer glitch. I put away some food and supplies myself, "just in case." It all turned out to be a lot of hype in the end. Perhaps some big conglomerate of food and supply companies put it out there hoping to up their profits by selling a lot of extra stuff. We don't really know, but the Lord said not to worry about tomorrow so much because tomorrow will take care of the things of itself. God is taking care of things today for us, and he doesn't plan on quitting tomorrow. We must trust him to give us the wisdom to prepare for whatever is coming because only he knows. We can only deal with one day at a time, and we should give each one our best effort, in my opinion.

I am not sure about the end of the world actually ending, I am thinking it's more about the world as we know it; that part will change and end. What I have read is that in 2012, Social Security will end, it will be bankrupt. The world's resources such as food, fuel, energy and water, will be depleted and very hard to come by. I have read that with the coming of the "New Identification Card", an RFID chip will monitor and hold all idenity of that specific individual. By 2012, most humans will not only have the RFID chip implanted underneath their skin, they will welcome the idea. We are looking at creating a new world order: "North American Union" in which Canada, Mexico, and the United States will be one. We will also have new money " The Amero". I don't think it's about the world actually ending, it's about change. If all of this were to happen, so many changes occuring so fast; it will seem like the world ended, but only to make way for a new one.

I don't think there will be an end of the world. No one knows exactly when that will happen so those things i really don't pay attent too. The only thing that people can do is sit back and wait. When the world end it's not like we can stop it from happening. Look at what is going on in the world right now natural disasters and war all over the place. So much going on that it will make your head spin.

Well, the world was supposed to end (yet again) May 8, 2008. And....

People are always saying that the worlds going to end. I haven't actually looked at the 2012 thing, but I'd take it with a grain of salt. I think that the worlds going to 'end' when a huge comet hits earth. This is the most likely of senerios. I think that if the world 'ends' we will know ahead of time.

..there is no exact time as said in the Bible... Christ will come like a thief.. no one knows... so ill put my boots of readiness... :)

although it's necessary to take urgent environmental measures, i think they're just trying to scare us of.. and since you read the bible we can always wonder: "should we believe the bible?" but thats just another "religion vs. science" issue..

I must say this is just rumour and nothing else . only the almighty Allah(God) knows . so the prediction is just vague.

Before this theer was a prediction about world ending around 2000 and peopel were worried hearing about this but nothing ahs happened till now isnt it? but, there are some circumstances like this wheer one cannot do anything even if hapens also and so, why to worry.Live your life till you have your life...enjoy

To be honest, I look at it like this...if it's gonna end, it's gonna end. There isn't much I can do about it. Every few years we go through this. The last big one was in 1999...ppl swore the world's computers were all going to collapse or that the world was going to end. I believe there was another prediction of around 2005 and now 2012. The truth is...no one knows. It's guesses. The best advice I can give is learn from yesterday, enjoy today and look forward to tomorrow. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

We hear this kind of crazy news all the time. I don't think anyone can predict the world's end. We should forget about these kind of crazy news and focus on our living.

I have heard this before too. The history channel has a documentry on the Mayan's. It says somthing in there about that date too. Like it's all a mystery that they ended with that date. They had to end somewhere. Actually the Bible says the earth is here forever Ps.104:5 Ec.1:4. It's the wicked that be will be destroyed while a great crowd will survive 2 Th.1:6-9; Re.7:9,14. God's purpose for the earth is in Gen.1:28; 2:8-15. This has not been fulfilled yet. But His plan has not changed Isa.55:11; 46:10,11. Earth will be filled with peaceful, perfect men Ps.72:7; Isa.9:6,7. Paradise to be restored by the Kingdom Mt.6:9,10; Re.21:3-5. Take a gilmpse of the future here in Isa.11:6-9. It's what i pray for everyday.

haha., i dont usually believe in predictions. i think they've just blast the news late 90's that its gonna end on 2000? then when 2000 came, they said 2007? 2007 already passed? so yeah, its kinda`.. foolish predictions.. mine is "who knows?" =) ^^
