Is it just me

Ugh! I wish I had that problem! I still have tag options. I don't like them either. I mean, they have helped me find stuff in the past but, I think that if you deny the tags in your responses to a discussion, it shouldn't ask you again inside that same discussion should you respond to it again at another time. So, I wish we didn't have tags either. Or, that it was simply up to the person who started the discussion to do tags and not for responses to discussions.

I am coming to this post a little late but I have been on My Lot each day and I still have tags.

I do not see the point to them either. I get frustrated when mine are not recorded as if they are not good enough.

Grandpa Bob mentioned that in one of the discussions. Sadly, I have yet to have that 'unfortunate' glitch happen to me.

I have only been on mylot for a few minutes today. In the few posts that I have responded to today; the tags have all been there. Now if I could just keep my internet connection...things would be A-OK!

Go read a discussion I started recently about the odd thing that happened at my end. It is odd here today. the pages seem to be loadig slower at times on and off as well. Maybe an update in progress? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I am still getting the submit tags boxes. I usually add 3 or 4 words, first words that pop into my mind. Yep, sometimes they are annoying, I wouldn't mind at all, if that feature just disappeared! lol!

I was having problems earlier-- but it seems to be all fixed now. I was hoping for no more tags as well--- but that is how people sort and search ~ by our tags and keywords.

I haven't noticed an issue with that today...Grandpa Bob said something about tags when starting a discussion though, not exactly sure what the problem was as I haven't gotten to that discussion yet. I don't see what the point is. The search function doesn't seem to work well so the tags don't do much good anyway.

I am getting this with some posts and not others and I am getting very confused now! I would be happy to see the end of tags as I never use them although i know others who do like them and make use of them! xxxxx

Mmmm....I still see the tags...I never really use them except when I start my own discussions anyway...it would be great if they did eliminate them anyway--would stop trolls from adding vicious remarks.

I still get those tags but I just hit skip and keep on going. I rarely add tags for I think it's a pain in the behind!! lol Sorry mylot!! But it is how I really feel! lol

It bugs ME because I have no idea what they're FOR! I mean, are they LISTED somewhere for us to look up, perhaps for us to recall what our subject was? If so, that's silly, because (A) I can't find any list, & (b), the TITLE of a post will give us THAT info (usually). And besides those things, how about it just slows down the whole process!!! I'll tell you what bugs me even MORE, though -- the stupid question it asks EVERY TIME, "Would you like to make this (topic name) one of your Hobbies?" I don't know about YOU, but classifying RELIGION or PARENTING as a HOBBY seems trivializing & , in the case of religion, downright blasphemous! HEY MYLOT! Who's running this show? Couldn't you at LEAST only ask the dumb question ONCE? Record it? STOP WASTING MY TIME!! Maggiepie

I've had tags today on every discussion I responded to or started. I do find them to be terribly annoying and would love to see myLot give us a choice as to whether we want to use them or not. Such as put a link in our preferences so we can't see the option any longer but we can change it back if we decide to want to use tags again.

It must have been you, just kidding. I guess I wasn't in mylot the day that you were experiencing that happening, or not happening, because I did't see it. I wish they would get rid of the tag page also and just have it come up when you are posting a new discussion. I used to tag the discussions I responded to, but I don't anymore. I will if I see that the member didn't put in any tags at all because they might not understand it, and that is why they didn't put any in. I have noticed though, when I see one of these discussions without a tag, it is usually a newbie, so that is why I figure they don;t understand about it. If you look at the link that says discussions without responses you will see that most of them have no tags in them, and that is why they have no responses, to me. They don't go anywhere without tags, so they don't get any responses.

i dont put any tags, i skip it, besides i still can find those discussions that i commented on
