At what AGE was your CHILD potty trained (fully)??

My son was 3 years and 1 month when he was fully potty trained. My daughter is only 16 months old. She is in pull ups and goes to the potty sometimes during the day, but she is nowhere near potty trained yet.

My eldest was 2 years and 8 months and was dry day and night from them, my youngest was 2 two months ago and is showing no signs of being ready ie she takes her nappy off and pees on the floor lol! plenty of time for it I think I feel if you let them lead and do it in their own time it will happen easily and without any stress to the child xx

My daughter just turned two last month and she's showing interest BUT won't go on the potty yet. She will take her diaper off and sit on her potty. After a few seconds, she jumps off and says all done. lol. I was told as long as she's showing interest, she's where she should be right now. :-)

hi there. with my first when she turned 2 i tried so hard. but having a baby too, made it harder. she understood sitting on the toilet and all but she could put the two together, she kept wetting and pooing her pants! argh so i gave up and by the time she was 2 years 3 months, she said one day i want to go toilet mummy and she went! when they show an interest, let them have a go and for gods sake if they do actually hit the jackpot, made a song and dance about it, hell even sing and dance LOL - i did. when they are ready, they are ready. my second is not toilet trained yet. she shows an interest and she is now 2 years and 3 months, i have my fingers crossed it will happen soon. she gets on the toilet often but she hasnt pieced it together yet. i dont think its a big deal when they are toilet trained. as long as they are out of nappies by 3 and a half - 4 at the latest! by time a child is that old they should have the mental capacity to understand what it all means. and then bribing them with lollies and toys would work if nothing else LOL so dont stress and dont push your little one. i know how you feel - i hate nappies too, and they cost so much. all in good time. goodluck to you :-)

Mine was fully potty trained at 2. It did take us having to go to a really hot destination for the holidays and she did not want to wear a nappy anymore because it was hot. Took maybe a week of loads of 'oooopsies' after that.
