Do you read in the bathtub?

When I had a big garden tub, I brought my book in with me. But I always forgot to keep my fingers dry and the books changed from neat closing paperbacks into swollen blobs of paper, words distorted by tortuous water. I can't figure this one out, but my daughter can read in the shower! Unbelivable.

I try to keep my reading material away from the water. I once tried reading in the hot tub outside, but then a big gust of wind came and blew my book right into the water. LOL

Yes, I love to read in the bath and I also often phone people from in the bath. I usually have a cup of tea with me and sometimes eat my dinner in the bath. hehehehehe all the best urban

Time was that I used to do this all the time. This was back when I only had one child and no hubby or fella to ruin it! I used to put my son to bed, get in the bath and not get out until the book was read. I used to be in there for hours. Then my life changed and it all went out of the window. Now though I have just started to do it again, not spending quite as long as I used to in there but still I get a couple of chapters read and I love it.

I love to read in the tub. In fact, I keep a stack of cheap romance novels in the bathroom in case I accidentally drop one in the tub. It has never happened, but I just know that it would if I tried to read a library book while soaking.

Hi sophiasmom911! How are you? Well, I do enjoy relaxing baths especially after a long and tiring day. I would really like to soak and read at the same time. I do not really do this often though. But it is really fun!

Yeah I do this a lot when I am going to go and take a bath. I always make sure to take book with me. It's rare if I don't read in the tub. But yeah I do it and it feels good because as you said you are getting relaxed and nobody is bothering you unless someone comes and knocks on the door because they have to go pee or something.
