Need help on my profile

Hey guys I have heard that you can add links to your profile to pages that you use.
Is this right?
If so how do you do it I can't seem to figure it out.

I'm not sure about posting links. But there's a section on your profile that says "my website". Make a website using a free website hoster(tripod, freewebs, etc.) and post your links up there!

ahh ok, doing so in a blog would probally work as well right?
