Is it right that south pole is going to melt???

If will have a big flood. All the polar bear will be killed because they have no shelter because the ice melts. You know this is very tragic, some of the big cities in South Pole will be flooded and many will be dying if this happen. We can still protect our atmosphere but i do think its too late since we can't stop the global warming.

My question to you is do you believe everything that you read or hear? I know that this Global warming is the big scare these days and it seems like more and more folks are jumping on the band wagon. There are a group of real scientists that are opposing any findings that there is a significant global warming to the extreme of the south pole melting or the world ending because of global warming. I am 51 yrs old and as a Junior in high school the big scare was that the world was getting colder and therefore we were surely heading for a world wide freeze. Eventhough that has happen 1000's of years ago, it has not happened in the past 30 yrs that I am aware of! But, now the weather is warming. Well, I am glad that we didn't freeze as I much prefer warmer weather! The difference from 30 yrs ago to now, is that 30 yrs ago people actually went through the thought process instead of just believing what they read or heard. The thing is that knowledge sets us free of big scares! The problem is that too many people think that the media today is reporting truths, well they didn't 30 yrs ago and I don't see it happening today! So, grab your tanning lotion and enjoy the warm weather, it might not last forever!
