Harry Potter Character Stabbed to Death?

I heard on the radio this morning that some Ravenclaw character from Harry Potter got stabbed to death in a bar or something... Is this true? And do you think that the other members of the Harry Potter cast are in trouble? I also heard that last year, the guy who plays Harry Potter was in huge danger and was escorted everywhere by a group of body guards! Is this true? -Thanks Ravi
