yes i do read others responses before making my response. so that i won't make a copy of what they all have already said. so that i can contribute different idea. or somehow add up to others' idea.

Not always but maybe on the odd occassion. There has been times when I have responded and not read others' only to find that the discussion was not for real to start with as the facts turned out to be untrue. After I had finished being "peedoff" and writing what I thought made it even more annoying. Not really, as what it did teach is not to believe all that is said in the Media. But must say the discussion certainly got a lot of peoples' backs up, including mine!

I try to read the other responses when i have time and it's not often that I have the time. So, I just provide the best answer or opinion that I can. I don't fuss over it too much. I just post what's in my heart and don't worry about what others have said, that way I can be original and not copy anyone. I don't use the emails too much.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. It depends on what topic the discussion is about and how much responses there have been. If I can't formulate a response (when I have one in my head, but it just won't get on the computer in the right words) I read the responses too, 'cause it helps me to find the right words.

Yes I do, that's one of my problem when responding from my mail box. If myLot could only add the link "view the entire discussion" similar to the mailed response to our discussion then we wont have any hassles. We are required to read the discussion and all responses as well rating them.

When there are other responses of course..
Seriously, I do read the responses of other people before I post my own response. An exemption would be if there are already fifty or more responses posted. In these cases, I just read the first three to five and the last three to five responses before I post my own response to the discussion.

Hello curious888,
Most of the time, I don't. I respond to the discussions from my e-mail. Since I have very limited time to spend here, I just try to respond to as many as I could. If I have more time to spend, I do sometimes check and read others' responses especially when the topics are interesting.

I usually do. I like to see what other folks have to say.I don't use notify. When I sign in I look at my discussions and respond if needed. Then I check out my friends' discussions and then move on to the rest. So reading them is just part of the routine for me.
