Good logic, tend to be kind of agnostic and almost an athiest at times and I think that religion was something like a tool which primitive societies used to use. For example, religion seems to encourage positive things and things which can help people(usually), so I think that it might have survived as a tradition because it helped people. However, I think that it's obsolete now and pretty much useless, and has very negative effects(especially throughout the medieval times).

first of all religion is the source of conflict in this world.. and does God said to choose a religion? obviously no, and if you follow a religion, it is base on worldly and traditions.. does God not pleased in tradition? then how can we be save? since our sin separate us from God the Father? doing Good works? obviously Good works is selfish.. for instance we both die, but before that i gave a poor man $1 and you donate a $1,000,000.. then how can God choose? by the amount you gave? But what if you are that poor person How can you be save? Its to chaotic if Good works.. besides all our righteous acts are like filthy rags to God.. then how can we be save? :)

funny question, whats in there to believe in religion, its just a mundane thing existing because not enough people have the courage to stand up to the situation or bear the consequences for the actions done by themselves at the first place.
