For those who start a discussion and never respond back.

maybe they dont open their mails thats why they didnt see who replied. i open my email first and see how and what happened. does my friends started a new discussion or if the discussion i reponded at has a comment. sometimes i make sure my own discussion piles has five responses before i get back at it. i feel bad also when i responded on something then the member does not comment back but maybe that is their style, we cant force them to do something they dont like. but for me commenting back on a person who responded in my discussion is my way to show that i appreciate them responding. but if there is nothing to comment on what they respond i dont comment back.

I think you are wrong in assuming that people don't read your answer just because they have not commented on it. As far as I am concern... I read all answers but I only comment on those who deserve a comment. I don't feel that I need to thanks every person for answering. Mylot is thanking them by paying them for their answer. Mylot can be anything you want it to be. If you want to make friends here... you can. But the majority of people came to mylot to make money... and friendship is just a bonus. If you hate the people on mylot... that is your own personal problem... not our problem.

I have discussions too that I haven't answered for many days now because I was suddenly flooded with lots of responses, not that I'm complaining..But I know how you feel and I also don't want it to happen to me. So, if I have plenty of time, I go back to my unresolved discussions and comment as much as I can.. Some of us cannot stay long and some can, that's why they are able to update their discussions..Just wait and it will be answered...thanks

I will read all the responses and comments of the discussions I have started but comment only to those responses which need comments. It is against myLot rules just saying thanks to all the responses we recieve. I think most of the people here read the responses they recieve from others.

I now try to reply on every respond that my discussions gets. I guess it really builds better frienship when I do it. People tend to respond more to future discussions when I comment on their responses. They make someone more likeable. I think it makes mylot like a place for conversation and meeting new friends and staying up to date with each other like real personal friends. To all those who start discussions and do not reply to the responses, I have some words for you: commenting pays. I always have thought that commenting doesn't pay. But as I have discovered, commenting pays as much as responding as long as you keep your comments to 4-5 lines. Have a nice Day!

Responding to the comments on your own discussions generates more income, so I don't know why these people do this. Perhaps they make so many discussions that they lose track of what they posted before? ---- another public announcement by psychopath
