Last week, my family and I went to the farm. This time, we went from the highlands to the lowlands. We went to the beach! It was my parents 20th Anniversary and we went to this beach resort which was like two hours away from our home. It was great! The place was full of white sand and marine life. While swimming the clear bluish-green waters, we could see fishes under us. It was really a nice place. Do you enjoy going to the beach as well?

Oh you grew up in the Philippines? I live in the Philippines. Swimming and going to the beach during summer is indeed popular here.

I love going to the beach. My fave part is laying on my tummy in the shallows and keeping still while watching the fish swim inches from my nose.

We sure don't go to the beach often, but I love it. I don't swim much in the ocean, I don't like the tides and the sharks and the cold water. But I love being around the water. I like sitting and watching the waves crash, and of course, people watching.
Sounds like you have a absolutely lovely area to visit.

I do love going to the beach - especially since we are down here in Southern Ca! The sad part is though that in the past we never really did beach outings unless it was a Holiday or relatives were visiting! We have all this right at our feet and didn't take advantage of it! This year my husband and I have made a pact that we will definately make several beach outings with our kids and let them enjoy all the scenery and sand castle - making, etc.! So excited! He has vacation the week following the 4th of July and that is what we will be doing! Can't wait!

If I lived by a beach I would be there daily. Maybe run day I will run away to a beach . I love the ocean , everythig about it . Water has this huge power over me.
I am in search of white sand and the bluest waters. I wanna go to Destin Florida.

I am pleased that you had a wonderful time for your parent's 20th wedding anniversary and that you enjoyed a lovely trip to the beach. It sounds like you had a superb time swimming in the ocean and it must have been magical to see the fish underneath you. I love snorkeling aroud coral reefs seeing brightly colored fish. I have seen small sharks, sting rays, a manta ray, dolphins and a turtle. Yes, I really enjoy going to the beach in my home country and overseas. Tropical beaches with palm trees and white sand are my favorite type but I also enjoy walking along a coastline tracks.

Congrats on your parents 20th! As for your question, I'm not really the beach type. Since I'm from northern New Jersey, I have been to the beach maybe three times in my life. I don't really get my kicks out there. However, I went to Atlantic City for the first time back in 2006, and I liked watching the sunset. And I'm not one for sunsets either, lol, but I thought it was awesome.
