Do Americans know much about the latin roots in the English language ?
Cause these days I've kept learning English roots for some days . Some of them are very interesting . So I wanna know American knows that ?

Not a lot of Americans do. I took five years of Latin and a year of Greek, so I'm pretty familiar with a lot of roots. I am a student of other languages (Spanish, French, Italian, Irish), and knowing the roots of the words makes learning them so much easier! I'd highly recommend keeping at the Latin if it seems to be helping you. If you are not getting any benefit out of it, though, I'd stop.
