Do you think this is my ghost or something else?

So all my life I have had strange experiences such as every place I have ever lived seems to be haunted. We live in Ohio and I'm sure that almost every inch of land has had some sort of death on it, but really what are the odds that every house I have lived in is haunted? I don't want to see a ghost or talk to a ghost, sound stupid? So new house about 7 months ago and every day the same thing happens, I lay down in bed with and sometimes without my husband and the ceiling fan above our bed makes this ping sound(over and over for a good amount of time). If you have the lights on you can see that the fan is not moving. The sound is like someone flicking the glass light cover with their finger nail. There have been other issues that are just sorta startling more than anything else but this is REALLY annoying. What do you think it could be?

it could be anything really. the movement of the house, the electricity, the heat or cold. I cant say that I am great beliver in ghosts but I am not a non beliver. I often feel like there is something in my house and this has not happen in any of the other houses I have lived in. I often get a glimps of a black shadow or white but nothing has ever happened and even if its a ghost its not a bad one. If you really want it cheched call ghost thingy or elecrician depends which is cheaper :) and let us know.

My brother is an electrian I will have to call him over. I do believe in ghosts but I don't do anything except say ok I don't want to see you or any strange activity. It does happen though, except the sightings. My mom says I probably have a ghost attached to me or something for me to have issues at every place.

who ever it is its obviusly not causing much trouble but some people are more tuned into that world than others and this is coming from a sceptic :) but I am not saying yes or no (there is such thing or not) I am saying I am not sure.

Yeah no problem/troubles although I really wish that my stuff wouldn't fall off it's shelves and whatnot that does get annoying! I really hate it when I am sitting right there and it happens at least when I am not there I can blame it on the kids lol

I think your mom is right when she says you have a ghost attached to you. That was my first thought. Have you ever tried asking what it wants? What are your dreams like? Have you ever dreamed of someone asking for help or anything that that? I think it is very interesting that you have had these experiences. Maybe you are a Ghost Whisperer and don't even know it

Even though you don't have a desire to see them.. it might help ease your mind a little to have a definitive answer. It might also help rid you of your ghost if all it needs is to be set free. I understand your weariness and I preach all of this.. but I would be freaked out and scared too lol
I am glad Cory went home. Maybe your brother released him.
Precognitive dreams are always elusive and unidentifiable until the event happens and one is able to figure out what a precognitive dream looks/feel/sounds/smells like, Your Grandmother had a very lucky gift.

I never really can remember my dreams. My husband tells me that I talk all the time in my sleep but he says none of it makes any sense. My grandmother would dream at times about family events that would happen sometime after she dreamed them, but they were always family based like once my mom was pregnant with me and her sister was pregnant with my cousin. We were suppose to be about six weeks apart and anyway my grandma dreamed that one of the babies were born still in the sac (which I never heard this one until I was older and she passed when I was 10) so a week after I was born my aunt went into labor and lived in the country on the way to the hospital my cousin was born and she was still in the sac. I would much rather have that gift LOL. But honestly I have no interest in talking with the ghosts of my house, but last night I did suggest we take the camera to bed with us and when the fan makes the noise take pictures to see if anything comes up. Because last night while we were laying in bed the fan started to speed up some and made this strange humming noise.

It is funny you said that about shutting it off as a child, when my brother was little my parents said that he had an imaginary friend. I remember once my brother going nuts while we left my grandmothers house screaming that we had left Cory at her house (that was the name of his friend) he cried for the rest of the day and later I remember him saying that Cory found his way home.

That's good. I'm sure it's the best way to know as long as one isn't hanging on to you. I don't mind the ghost anymore and actually I talk to it all the time now, to make sure it doesn't forget that I don't want to see it.

This could be down to Paranormal Activity or just a normal thing that happens, Normally if it was Paranormal Phenoumena, it would be many more things that would happen but you mentioned every house you lived in was Haunted, this could also be the answer to your problems, if a Spirit is attracted to your Kindess and warm heart, they can attach themselves and follow you where you go, This has happened to me personally and does happen.
If your not sure then just take some photos around your home, and see what you can find, All the best with that
