Dear myLot,

Please allow me to go back and add a photo to my discussions as I often forget to when originally posting.
Also, it would be absolutely fabulous if I could edit my posts. Typos make me wince as I am an avid grammar freak so it would be very nice if I could go back and fix it so I don't have to keep looking at the mistake and dying a little inside each time.
Thank you!
(Anyone else find that these two things bother them like crazy or is it just me? What else would you like to see changed on myLot?)

I agree because I often forget to re-read my responses and discussions and therefore miss certain typos. I too am quite annoyed by some obvious grammar and spelling mistakes, however I don't think it is possible for MyLot to enable editing posts, as it would be a lot harder for MyLot to adjust your earnings. For example, when you post something, then return a day later and feel that something is missing. You add a couple of lines and now MyLot would have to change your earnings. I think it would just be too complicated for MyLot.
But a solution might be that we would be able to edit our responses and discussions, only 10 minutes after posting it though. That way, we would be able to remove all typos and MyLot wouldn't have to worry about updating earnings!

Ah yes that's true about changing the earnings.
I could live with a 10 minute limit. I usually see the typos right after I hit submit and curse. :P

Yes, an edit button would be very nice. I can live a typo, but I don't like it...lol. Also an ability to see what I have posted day by day and maybe better organization of the friends list. I think that's about it for my list...lol.

I, too, am a grammar freak! I hate to send something out that isn't perfectly polished. I find I will preview and edit my post like 10 times before actually posting it. It would be nice to edit your post once it is up, but I think that there is potential of changing the original idea, thus making the posts to follow seem...not right, for lack of better words.
Like if I posted something that made someone reply very vehemently, and then I went in and changed my post, it would appear as though the respondant was speaking out of proportion to the original idea.
But it would sure be nice to put that picture up after...can't see a negative effect from that.
I suggest previewing your response. And not worring about it too much. There are a lot of people on here who are obviously very intelligent, but in their haste to post, make simple and obvious mistakes. Certainly people aren't judging you on that, or at least I hope they don't. I like to think that people are intelligent enough to read over my errors, or ask questions if they need to. I know I do and would.

I reread my posts a bunch of times to catch errors but sometimes I miss one and I'll notice RIGHT as I hit submit and it's too late. Whoops.
