How many times do you "snooze" the alarm...if at all?

Some days, when the alarm goes off, I leap right out of bed, ready to face the day.
Other times I will hit the snooze enough times to make the alarm quit coming on. Then when I finally do wake up and look at the time, I end up bolting out of bed anyway!
I would have to say though, that I prefer to snooze.
How about you? Do you love to face the day? Or do you love to snooze?

I don't have my alarm set about the moment for anything. I do a lot of freelance work on the internet right now as a job. Sometimes I get hired for small amounts of cash to write something. So, for right now I"m making my own hours until I find something that's steady. And no, I'm not one to face the day, lol. I hate the morning. The sun usually peeks through the blinds, blinding me.

Hi,
I never need an alarm if I am going to get up at the usual time. I will get up on my own. If I have to wake up early then I do need an alarm. But I will not need snooze. I just keep it for the right time and get up at the first sound. My sleep will go off as I get excited soon. Usually I keep alarm only when I have to catch a train or a flight for going out. The other days I do not need an alarm at all.
In olden days there was no snooze. The loud and clear alarm will go and we had to get up. Only nowadays musical ones have come, as also the mobile ones. So I am still in the old days I think. even my soft alarm music in my mobile can wake me up in the night correctly.

Wow!
That is great! If I want to wake up without an alarm, I need to use the pioneer alarm clock...five glasses of water before bed!
Your internal clock is right on!
Mine needs batteries lol.

i really like to listen to the 7 am news, so i dont snooze the alarm that much, i set it about 5 minutes early, so i can snooze it during the sports. (i am not interested in who won what usually) but i do like to hear the news! then i flip on my tv to see what the weather is going to be like on our local weather channel.

That's great!
You have a good system that works for you. The news is your motivator. I think those few times I jumped up to face the day was because there was a good song on the radio, that was my motivator.

I love to snooze! I can never just jump out of bed, I need time to wake up first. Unfortunately, I can very easily fall back asleep instead, so I need to use the snooze alarm. I usually hit it 2 or 3 times. Setting my alarm earlier doesn't even fool me into getting up earlier, since I will usually just add an extra snooze alarm!

I never hit the snooze alarm which is probaly a bad thing since I will shut the alarm off and then go back to sleep and then I won't wake up until 10 minutes before I need to be somewhere!

It kind of all depends on what time I have to get up. I used to never hit the snooze. Now I take my sister up to the bus stop in the mornings and I tend to hit the snooze button every morning. I used to never do that. There are occasionally those days where I still don't hit the snooze button at all. I guess it also depends on what time I go to sleep as to how tired I am and if I hit the snooze button. Seems like I do it a lot anymore.

I always set my alarm for an hour before I absolutely have to get up. So if i'm leaving the house at 9:30am, then I absolutely have to get up at 9:00am, so i'll set my alarm for 8:00am, then I can keep hitting the snooze button for an hour and it gives me plenty of time for my brain to adjust to the fact that i'm gonna have to wake up properly pretty soon. I use my phone as my alarm clock and if you hit the snooze button the alarm will go off again after nine minutes.

I hit the snooze button so many times in the morning to where I have to jump up in the morning and rush to get dress. It is like when it's time for the clock to go off that's when I get my good sleep. And every time I hit the alarm I think to myself the next time I am going to get up and it goes off again and again.
