Anyone know any good low-cholesterol recipes? I was recently diagnosed with high cholesterol and before they put me on pills they want to see if I can change my diet enough to lower it.
Unfortunately, I eat a very healthy diet to begin with -- no fatty meats, no eggs, lots of fruit and veggies. Maybe I'm missing something. We'll see.

Try eliminating all animal products because that is where the cholesterol is found.

Add the legumes to your diet they are good for lowering cholesterol. There is a lot of ways to fix them. You can make lentil loaf or special K loaf to replace the need for meat. try looking for vegetarian recipes.
