Well I don't know anything about your country. Therefore I really don't think anything about it either.I don't trust what is on tv. very much.
Why don't you share some good things with us about your country.

I read this book Malaysia and the Club of Doom. In the first chapter, the author, Syed Akbar Ali, talked about Failed States and its definition and how Pakistan is a good example of that.
I can't remember the exact details because I read this book way long ago, but it gave me a certain perception towards Pakistan. I may be wrong though. But I'll share with you the details as soon as I get back my book and then you can tell me if the points mentioned in the book is true or not. Cheers.

well.. personally i dont totally agree with people when they say pakistani's are terrorists..
doesnt india have terrorists?.. does that make all the indians terrorists? no..
typical indian mentality.. its better to look at ourselves first than talk about pakistan..
maybe there are more terrorists in pakistan.. but that doesnt mean all the people there are terrorists..
well im an indian.. but i dont see why the enemity is still on..
if somone started it, another somone can end it too..
Peace :P

Well Pakistan is America's biggest allies. so if yuo say that pakistan is a terrorist country it clearly mean that you accuse americans as terrorists. Pakistan is a fast growing country. Its the sixth most populous country. Its rich in culture, tourisim, sports, music. Also its an nuclear tencho country.

I'm an American living and working at an NGO in Lahore. Unfortunately in the US many people do not know much about Pakistan. It would even be difficult for many to find Pakistan on the world map. In general, people know more about India and have only what they see on CNN or Fox News to go by.
After living in Pakistan for a year I went back to the US. As I love photography, I set up a display called "Faces of Pakistan." It showed many different beautiful people and places in your country. Educated people were surprised to see mountains, rivers, and fair-skinned blue eyed children. Many people think all of Pakistan is a desert, even though Pakistan undisputedly has some of the best trekking in the world. When I would start discussions about Pakistan I would ask people, "What is the first word that comes to your mind?" Many times it was including something like, "Taleban,Bin Laden, terrorist, desert, Musharraf, nuclear bomb, cricket."
Obviously living here in Pakistan and having a love for this country I know that these perceptions are false. Nevertheless Pakistanis need to do a better job of representing their country and showing the rest of the world the many different facets of Pakistan.
