What is the best deal you've ever found at a thrift store?

My absolute best deal was a barely worn pair of hiking boots I'd been wanting for a long time. I only paid $3.00 for them. What was your best deal? What type of item was it and how much did you pay?

I found a hardcover first edition of a book that I paid 75 cents for. later on i looked it up online and it was selling for around 70 or 80 dollars!

WOW! Did you sell it? Or did you simply enjoy having it?

I did not end up selling it, but it was nice to know that I scored a find worth so much. :)

I bought a whole bag of books for $1.00 at a thrift store before, that was great! I have gotten some great barely worn children's clothing too.

An pregnancy shirt.. With read and white flowers.. It looked brand new.. And it was weigh too pretty to be at the thrift store... The other women looked at it, and passed by... I was glad that they did not want it.. I had my eyes on that shirt..

I usually buy old books at a thrift store. Haven't gone much shopping at the local thrift stores in the area though my sister in law once told me that there are good deals to be find out there. Some are still new with tags and high end stuff that others just don't want anymore or decided to donate. Have fun with your great finds and hope I'll find one someday! Enjoy!
