It's pretty silly if we really think about it but I'm a lot like you in that I don't think I can go a day without my cell. phone... My mother used to say, "How could people survive without cell. phone before they came out?"... I worked for cell. phone company briefly, not enough to know as much as some people do, but long enough to know slightly more than some... And as a cell. phone sales person, I've seen trend shift from one type of cell. phone to the another but common thing I've noticed is how people tell me their lives would be so much harder without their cell. phones... I myself use cell. phone for my everyday communication & I even have daily schedules, emails, voice recording or notes, practically everything I need to put down on a paper is in my phone in one form or another...If I was ever to lose my cell. phone, my life would be chaotic to say the least...

Well, gagglefinish, if I am staying home for the day, I will probably not even turn on my cell phone. But, when I go out and about, to work or to run errands, I feel I must have the cell phone with me.
I use the cell phone as a tool rather than for entertainment. In my younger years, I might have used it to chat more with friends. But now, I use it when I need to make contact with someone for a specific reason.
Take care.

i always keep my phone on because most of my family and friends are out of state and we keep in contact at strange hours of the night. there are some days where i want to just throw my cell phone out the window and ignore the world. but the last time my phone broke, the days between while i was waiting for my new phone were torture! i think that my cell has become a necessity in my life, even though i wish it wasn't! :)

Come to think of it, before cellphones flourished, we all can live without instant text messaging / portability of phone calls. And because of this technology, it became much easier for almost everyone to get in touch with someone. Now, I can't spend a day without my cellphone. Maybe I can if some circumstances are given like a broken cellphone. All in all, it has become a necessity to most of us that even when do not use it, it's always by our side.

No, I don't think I could ever spend a day without my cellphone. Sending text messages and using my cellphone to get connected with family and friends has became a way of life for me. From early morning that I wake up, I use my cellphone to greet family and friend good morning and wishing them a good day ahead and send them sweet and inspiring messages. Until the evening before I sleep, I still use my cellphone to send goodnight messages. I use my cellphone to get connected with everybody during the day, for both personal and work related. So I don't think I could spend a day without a cellphone.

i always had my mobile with me, i'd take it to school, the toilet, carry it, have it under my pillow when i sleep o.O. I rarely tlak on it though mainly texting. But then it broke and i got a new one, and fighted with people so we rarely talked over it anymore and i started leaving it behind and never charged it. Soon i only started using it for alarm in the morning. Then i got a new one, its better, WOO! and i like carry that around all the time now its on my lap now XD
But if it was taking away from me i could live with out it. Its just so new and shiney i want it in my hand XD lol
