Well, many people are seeking for a true religion that could bring them to heaven. I heard also from others that religion could not save you. In my understanding, no matter what religion you have, if you are following the laws of God and you have a good relationship with God and your fellowmen, you have a chance of heaven.
what is your idea abaout this?
Cna you share something?

Oh!!!I'm just wondering why atheist don't believe in God. Well, I always respect the rights of others who believe or don't believe, but for me, if there is no God... Who created the universe and everything therein?
thanks for your reply.

I don't think that God (whichever one you believe in), would forsake anyone who has a good and kind heart. If God is willing to save any vilest of villains as long as he repents, I don't see why God wouldn't want to save anyone who has been good, no matter what his/her religion is...

Heaven is a Catholic concept. I think other religions have a different term or a slightly different understanding of the afterlife. Though religion and gods may take different forms, it all boils down to goodness. So regardless of what you believe in, the important thing in life is just to be good to yourself and to others. And the rewards of living a good moral life is something that I don't know because I'm still alive haha.

Yes, to have good relationship with God and to your fellow men is the most important thing than to have a religion and the attitude is very bad. Out attitude is the passport to heaven. Character is the only thing that we can not share to others.

We have the same perception about this thing my friend. For me, memorizing and understanding all the contents in the bible is useless if you do not apply it in you daily life. Doing good things for God and for your fellowmen are enough for me to say that i have a chance in heaven.

You are right!! the most important is you characteer because that is the only thing that you can bring wherever you go. No body can rob you with that.. no one can borrow or ask your character. It is your only treasure and the only thing you could rbing to heaven.. that is Character...

I believe in the Bible nothing else could ever save us but to trust the Lord with all our heart and repent of our sins ask him to come in our hearts from that day forward you should believe you have eternal life and obviously this is a step of faith its not only believing but we should try to live according to the Bible and not the code of this world. =)

What will be you closer to heaven is your belief in Jesus as the son of God. In the bible it says that the only way to God is threw Christ. There are to many religions to say what is the true religion.

Only way is to kill one person each of different religion and wait for them to come back to tell us who came back from heaven. One who says he is back from religion, kill more people of the religion and see if they also come back from heaven then the only way is to try yourself.
Just kidding dont take it seriously.

Hi celestial, There are many out there who would answer in the affirmative, the problem is the answer would come from many different groups, so you would be in the same situation as before you asked the question. I don't believe that heaven is a physical place, because I can't imagine anywhere where I would want to live forever in the same state. I believe we continue to grow as we move from one experience to another. What you state as your understanding is a good one, continue to seek a good relationship with God and your fellowmen and you will do fine. Blessings.

hi
if you read Bhagvad Gita,Bible of Hindus-it gives an example of how all the streams, river and seas finally end up in the ocean-it means that whicever path u follow, whicever religion you follow, whicever God u worshipu can reach heaven as long as you do it with deep and utmost faith. It does not tell u to follow one particular religion or God and hate other religion. And praying to God is not the only way to heaven or salvation-it is one of 4 ways.

i don't think there is a specific religion that could bring its members to heaven..as far as i know and to my point of view, all religion are claiming they will save their members and could bring them to heaven..i guess its just fate that makes the member believe to be save by their own religion. well for me, religion is just a guidance and an instrument to spread the Creator's good news and salvation.
happy posting!

and regarding following Christ.. first of all it is impossible to live as Christ follower... yep it is impossible if it is in your own strength.. you know with God nothing is impossible.. ^_^ just trust in God for better or for worst.. just say "Your will be done always..." run out of ideas.. i guess im tired already.. just ask God for help.. -_-

I don't think there are any religion could bring us to heaven, not even christianity. only Jesus can bring us there by trust in Him as your messiah & God and being baptized. We also need to love Him and follow His commands as the bible said that the people who loves Him is the one who follow His command, and by following His command we also become God's son & friend, isn't this amazing? :)

I believe there is no such religion that could bring us to heaven. Religion doesnt matter at all. What we must do is to follow the 10 Commandments which is really very hard to obey sometimes. We all have sins and people are sinners. We just have to repent, ask forgiveness and follow Jesus Christ for He is The Truth, the Way and the Life and whoever shall believe in Him will have everlasting life.
Goodluck to us!

I do not believe in religion, or in heaven, so thus, it cannot be achieved, unless you attempt to do in your mind. I am an Agnostic, and most of us believe that Heaven and Hell are already on Earth, so why bother reaching either one. There is no literal Heaven or literal Hell, it is all in your mind. You make your own Heaven or your own Hell. There is a higher being or power, yes, but you may or may not ever see that being or power.

hello there, I think you are right!! this earth will become hell when God pout out his wrath on earth. Fire from heaven will come down to earth to clean the earth and this earth will be made new. This will heaven be. You are right!!!

First and foremost, is there really a heaven? Is it a physical place or a state of mind?
Only if you answer these question, will your next question be relevant. I'm not big on religion, so I guess, I don't pretty much care. But most people need to believe in something, and religion pretty much gives them that.
For those who are seeking salvation or a path to heaven, I wish them luck, and hope that they will get what they are looking for.

Well, since no body of us here on earht was able to see the physical nature of heaven, I could say that we have it in our mind and we could have the full belief that there really is heaven because it is written in the Bible.
Thanks for your reply.

Religion cannot save anyone. Following gods laws and being good to your fellow man cannot even take you to heaven. Even good works will not take you to heaven. The only thing that will take you to heaven is accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior. The bible says that one must be born again to enter into the gates of heaven. If you do not have christ then you will not be able to go to heaven regardless of how good or sweet you are. Someone can only have a good relationship with god after they have accepted jesus christ as savior.
