Relationships at work-do they work???

"Don't get your honey where you get your money!" physical attraction is something that follows is everywhere we go and if in the beginning it looks fun to have your sweetie around all the time it will stop after some time. you will have a pair of eyes on you more often than you probably could handle. some people may be able to go around this and separate the personal relationship from the professional one, but it will probably be a minority.

Well most of the times it depends on the person and how they handle it. I probably would not have a long standing relationship with the people who work around me, if at all i do maintain some relationship then it would some thing which does last long. I do have some friends where i worked earlier and we still get together discuss things and share our experiences. Its as simple as that for me. If i have any relationship which is just by mere attraction then that would be for sure for few days. I am a typical and practial guy who is selective and cirsumspect. I dont think they will help me a lot in my work.

I believe there are relationship that works and I can name a lot of people I have met who first started their relationship in their workplace. I agree that in some companies, one has to give up the job since it is against the policy. Once they felt really the magic of love, place and people will never be a hindrance..LOL

My live in and I didn't work at the same place, but we did business together. We have been together now for over 5 years, so I can say it has worked out well for us. Neither one of us are at our old jobs, but we are still together.

It depends on the individuals how do they handle the relationships...but i dont like that idea either...i dont think relationships at work really work....m not into that....

Some relationships work forever,but some not.Everything deepens from people.
