I got the chills about it. I'm not sure if my cautions are based on good reasons but after seeing this movie I started getting a little scared as to what might happen to US if we don't do something soon. I really don't want to freeze to death and now I'm a little scared it might happen. Are my fears well based or is this movie just giving me fake chills?

This is, we hope, an exaggeration to prove a point. So this exact scenario might never happen but climate change is part of global history. Some of previous mass extinctions are related to various factors one of them is weather. The fact that humans are highly adaptable, makes it plausible that humans can survive even dramatic changes. Generally these changes though take years if not centuries. The best way to prevent or prepare for this is to learn more about what sparks these changes and then try and fix what can be and mitigate the effects of what can't. Each person can change one thing eg recycle, little things, that can make the world better, I think the movie is about hope, no matter what changes happen humans will survive as will the virtue of love and compassion.

I did think the same thing when I saw it. You really never know whats going to happen in the real world, and its cool that some people are thinking about the diffent possibilities of how the weather could effect us. I enjoyed the movie.
