It feels so good to take a hot shower in my own house

For those of you who don't know, I heat my house by propane. The hot water heater runs off propane too. A couple of months back all kinds of stuff happened to me at once. Like my tire blew out on my car & I had to pay $600 for new tires. Then I ran out of propane. Well, the tires broke me and I have been without propane since then. I just got propane 2 days ago. So I have taken 2 very hot showers in my own shower! I'm very happy and pleased to be able to do this.
Just wanted to spread my cheerful glee.

Oh my gosh...I remember living your nitemare! Years ago, I was in a similar situation. Finances were so tight. I had to heat hot water up on the stove and fill the bath for my kids and I. ...dishes etc. Prior to that, I'd spent 4 months living in a tent...no running water. Times like these really humble us and make us appreciate things that most people take for granted. don't they?

I can understand how you feel. I've gone without things at times too. As they say when it rains, it pours!!! I bet you feel like a new person.

I'm just happy to not have to drive to town to take a shower. I'm happy that I can take a shower everyday here at home now.

I know wht it's like to have cpld showers, a couple of years back my hot water service broke down, and I had cold showers for four days.

More than nice. I couldn't wash dishes. Couldn't give the dog a bath. Couldn't take a bath at home or give my kid one. It was awful.
