boondock saints

It is a great movie. It is truly a classic. Anyone who hasn't seen it needs to check it out immediately.

I haven't seen this in a while, and I'm usually not into violent movies, but I really did like this movie!

Boondock Saints is actually one of my FAVOURITE movies! Its a great flick! I just wish the sequel would have made it to big screen....If i remember correctly it was suppose to come out last yr (or maybe it was the beginning of this yr) but was put on hold or stopped or something for some reason or another..I'm a huge fan of Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flannery (he had me with Powder another of my fav flicks)

I love this movie, and it makes me sad that more people don't know about it. Not only is it a great story, with great action, but I love to watch it because I am from Boston and I recognize a lot of locations where the film was shot. There is actually a documentary about Troy Duffy (the director of this film) and the making of Boondock Saints. The documetary is called Overnight and it pretty much shows his rise and fall in Hollywood. I haven't seen it myself, but I plan too. Apparently, the film shows him in a not very postive light and as a bit of an ego maniac. I do know that he wants to make a sequel, but a friend told me that he read somewhere that Duffy was pretty much black balled from Hollywood and that no one wants to work with him. If a sequel does eventually come out though, I would be curious to see it.

I LOVE this movie! For a low budget movie, it's beautifully filmed, brilliantly cast, and just extremely well done. It's got a pretty nice cult following and I'd consider it a classic among 'us'. Did you know that they're planning on beginning the sequel this summer? I only hope it's as good as the first!
