Can You Say That You are Proud of Your Life Now?

Some of us must have gone thru a hell lot to make our parents proud. Not that we did it just to please them even if we didn't like what we were doing..
Some would say that they are the ones who decided what path they're going to take..
But do you think after all the trials and errors in your life, you can say finally that you are proud of what you have become now? That you have become a better person?

I at one point in my life tried to be/do what my parents wanted, however i finally relized that were not the ones living in hell and decided that i wasn't going to continue to live there either! So yes after coming to the conclusion that i needed to live the kind of life that i wanted to live and not for someone else, i think i did a fairly good job of it.

I am happy for what I have now. But I am not yet satisfied. I want to achieve something which I know that's the road I am taking now.

Well, I can say I am proud at where I am now. I've made lots of decisions and even made a few wrong ones. I proud I made them as I've learned a lot. I'm more happy than ever. There are lots of blessings even though there will always be challenges and hardships. It was easy but I'm proud to be happy in the middle of it.
I've made a lot of choices and mostly are for my future and my family. It's the first time I can really say that I'm living not just for myself but for those who I care for and love. I've been selfish enough during my younger days. Time to live life as it should be.
