This just in 5 minutes ago:
Yet another crane has snapped off of the top of a building being constructed and has crashed down on E. 90th & E. 91st Street on 1st Avenue's sidewalks and street.
Possible fatalities feared. If I hear anymore news I'll follow up.
Unfortunately this has been happening frequently for over a year now.

That't so awful! I wonder why these accidents are happening? Is it the equipment or employee error? I'm sorry, I never heard the cause of the last one.

I blame it on rushed, poor erecting of the cranes to the buildings, be it for construction or demolition. Then we get a series of events like this. The mayor and governor need to halt all these project until proper & thorough inspections are executed.
Stay tuned, there's more news I just heard I'm about to post.
