Hi shannonjyl. I'm sorry to know this but don't worry, it happen to me once. My star and the number on it goes down and I don't know why till now! I needed 3 days to turn it again in red and take the original number again. Maybe some people here like to play with this giving bad reviews for someone at hazard. But it don't affect your earnings at all. When it happen we need that the friends rate us positive all the time to give up in the star again lol.

Hi Tekka44 friend.
I rated you possitive because you always are! Thank you for telling me that it has no effect on our earnings . I was worried that a few negative ratings and I would not be able to make even a few pennies a day. I do think some people abuse this rating system and that is why I think it should be taken away and replaced with just a "report" button for comments and posts. My rating even went down 3 more points. I guess one should not complain about star ratings, it is not good for the ratings!

I had a red star and then it turned yellow and pale white. It did not bother me in the least because I did not know what it meant. Then I got a blue star and wrote about it whereupon it turned red again. A few days later it turned blue again. I think about the discussions and try to contribute to the topic at hand as best I can and don't worry too much about the stars although I like the look of my blue star. I am sure your star will change into a nice color when you work on the discussion more and less on the color of the star. Cheers!!

HI underdogtoo. Thank you for your response. I went down 3 more point today! eekk. I do not care. If I was really annoyed I would not be back. But I like mylot and the friends I have met here. I have Been myself and added to the discussions that interest me. my opion was asked and I know it was not what the poster was hoping for in my responses. I have to post my own thoughts and not follow the others and worry about star ratings and popularity. I will post on the forum like I do in my real life. I will continue to be true to me!

Well my star hasn't changed colors, and that I know of I didn't lose any posts because my post count was the same this morning as it was last night when I logged off. But my earnings went down. And that was with all the replying that I did yesterday and even uploading photos. Would that mean that someone is giving me bad reviews too?

No , if your earnings went down it was either an error or some posts were deleted (or pics) because they contained links or broke a rule of some sort. If you responded to a post that broke the rule and was deleted your comment and earning will be gone too. I hope it was an error and you will see a return of your earnings in the morning. †
