i always admire people who makes scrapbooks. they are so patient and creative.
as of now, i don't make scrapbooks, i think they are hard to do and takes so much time to finish. and maybe because no one in our family has made one.
but my girlfriend and i agreed that in time we get kids, we will make scrapbooks for them. so they have something to look back to.

yes I love doing them too! I did a little accordian one for my friend's kid and their parents liked it so much that they said they would frame it up!
I was so touched! I think it's a way of helping people put down their thoughts about their kids too - sometimes I leave a journalling space for them to fill up memories or thoughts.

I love making the mini books too. I do lots of paperbag scrapbooks. I used to just give them as gifts and last year I started to sell them in a little boutique. I have just started making chipboard books. those are fun too. i just love scrapbooking. If it would pay me the same as my real job I would do this all day.

What a wonderful idea. I would not think to do these things being a guy and all but a scrapbook does make for a wonderful present knowing the care and effort and time put into making it. Congratulations!

I do little scrapbooks for the same reasons. I also do them for family trips for my kids. They love to take them to school for show and tell.
