I personally use Cricket and Cingular/AT&T (Yes, I have two cell phones; One for calling/texting friends, Second for parents and the internet for when I'm away from home). I like Cricket a whole lot because you have unlimited everything for only like $40-$50 a month. But, the only problem with it is that the reception isnt that great. The phone loses signal quite a bit. My Cingular/AT&T phone has great signal all the time which is good because I'm on the internet with it all the time when I go out on a road trip or out in the country where you wouldnt get as good of signal.
Which company do you prefer? And why?

I live in Europe and I use Telfort for my mobile. why? because the prices is not too expensive to send sms to my own country in Jakarta. Everyday, i send sms to my mother. Since the first time i move here, i already use this provider.

I am also from the Philippines. I am using Sun Cellular since the network started in March 2003. You can say that I am a loyal SunCell subscriber. I love SunCell, even though there are some problems arise, like poor signal, unable to send the sms and others. The network gives the most convenient services to it subscribers. Their rates are the lowest in all network providers here. Just for example, their intra-network sms rate is just 50 centavos compared to others that is 1 peso. There is even more...

I've used Nokia for a very long time. I guess all of my cellphone are from the Nokia company. Except for my current phone.
Oh I had an Xplore phone before, it was cute but my batteries are useless now so I stopped using it and besides it's hard to acquire new batteries for it because I have to buy it from other country.
Anyway, my current phone is from other country but it was sold here. It's okay, just a little heavy for a phone. But I like it generally 'cause I can watch tv and listen to FM radio from it.

My husband and I use Verizon. We have had service through many different carriers but it seems to have the best service nation wide. It is also the only one that works at our home. We drive a truck cross country for a living so nation wide solid service is a necessity.

I use Econet. Where I come from it is not a matter of choice, it is just a matter of getting your hands on a cellphone line . The latter not sold on the official market and it is exorbitant and difficult to get one from the black market. The services are also basic ,the signals are poor with all the service providers, no internet connections . . . .so it really does not matter which one you use.

well, I prefer NOKIa. Nokia is one of the best brands, and mostly used here in the philippines. aside from being user friendly, i find it more durable and high standard than other brands, second is ericson but then i find it sensitive. unlike nokia. I have used a lot of models so far and I'm using nokia n-95 8GB right now. it seems more appealing than anyother brands... I've tried nokia and tested it for years. i have droppped it a lot of times.. and heheheh..... it's still alive!!! :)

we have verizon. I did not like cricket's phone plans, service, or the phones you have to buy and use. I had att a long time ago and after them charging me $250 for a phone that I reported stolen (long complicated story) I declared i would never use them again.
I think verion is cheaper though - we have 1400 minutes, unlimited long distance, free verizon to verizon calls, no roaming and 250 text messages & free nights and weekends for about $80 a month for 2 phones. we also have lg phones which i think are very good quality and value.

I am from the Philippines and I am using Globe Communications. I have been a postpaid subscriber with Globe for more than five years now and I am very satisfied with the services they provide that is why I am sticking with this provider. What I like most about it is their rewards system wherein you will get a free mobile phone upon signing up with them to renew your contact once your previous contract has expired. It may not be the largest mobile network provider in the Philippines (Smart Communications being the # 1 in terms of the number of subscribers), but I am very satisfied with Globe. In fact, I was a Smart user before and I was not happy with them so I switched with Globe. Since that time that I signed up with Globe Communications, I haven't switched to any other network.

I have t-mobile myself... I've heard some bad things about their receptions but places I use it works great... Also, if I'm not mistaken, T-mobile is the only company in U.S. that allows you to basically turn your phone into a "internet" phone... Few models they offer, which I have one of, have capability to link to wireless router & make & receive calls... I've gone to hotels where I didn't have any signal but once I hooked up to their "complamentry highspeed wireless internet access" that a lot of hotels offer now a days, my phone worked fine... I went from verizon to sprint to nextel to tmobile back to sprint/nextel, after they merged, back to tmobile...

dear mirenia In India Nokia is the best brand cell phone which maximum indians are using. Due to its tough body and features most of persons like it. The quality of signals are quite good . I like this brand due to battery quality. I am having nokia phones and one day suddenly it fell down from my pocket from a height of four feet I thought that it might have broken and non-functiional but it is surprising that it works with full swing. For this nokia is preferable for all. But one thing I can express that it is not good for internet browsing.

For several years I used US West/Qwest since I had their landline service. I kept getting poor reception and dropped calls. My brother recommended Verizon and Cingular/AT&T, so I chose the latter. I get a rare dropped call occasionally, but the reception and sound quality is much better. It suffered a bit when I moved into my new place, but I've bought a signal booster to correct the problem.

I use Virgin Mobile-lol. Pay as I go! I really don't use it much, just carry it with me for emergencies. My daughter says its "ghetto", but i get much better service than she gets with her high priced, AT&T, stuck with it for a year, phone! :)

I live in Brazil. My favorite cell phone company is Nokia, because Nokia´s cell phone are too resistent!!
My cell phone always fall down to the ground, take a "shower", got kicked... and always works too well!!
Here in my country there are a lot of companies offering cell plans (TIM, OI, TELEMIG, CLARO, BRASILTELECOM...). I prefer TIM company.
