What song is stuck in your head right now?

We all get a song stuck in our heads that we can't get rid of. Some, we don't necessarily want to get rid of. Others, drive us crazy all day long until we finally lose it to be replaced by another or just a distracting thought. We hum along with it, whistle it or even outright sing along with it. Me? I always have a song in my head. Every single day, all day long. Right not, it is the new single Summertime by the reunited New Kids On The Block. I love it! I know...feel free to lose some respect for me! I am ok with that! I was a huge block head when they were big! I loved their music and wanted to be Joey's girl! LOL! Well, now I like their new single and, that song is in my noggin.
So, tell me my fellow myLotians...what song is in your head right now? Have you given into it and are singing, humming or whistling it? Is it welcome or would you gladly trade it for a song you actually like? Did the radio put it in there or did someone else who had that song in their head put it in your head when you heard them singing, humming or whistling it?

Right now, because I had been on my profile, I have David Ruffin Jr's "Dedicate My Luv" stuck in my head.
Being that I listen to quite a few variations, & constantly sing in shoutboxes, I have this one person who says she thinks about me & my witty ways every time they hear a Scorpions song. It also works the other way around. I might go to her discussion, & respond, & then suddenly, she ends up having The Scorpions annoyingly playing in her head. That was until I ended off a response with sunshine on a cloudy day. (Oopsie - did I suddenly start a song annoyingly playing in your head?)

LOL! Not me! But, maybe your other friend if she reads this discussion. Oops...you might have. Sunshine on a Cloudy Day is in my head right now. But, it will likely fall back out soon enough! LOL! Yup! I can already hear it being drowned out by Summertime again! LOL!

LOL! It seems that she has had "This is the song that never ends" in her head for a while now!
And, I feel a little bad now that I see that others have already asked this question before. I do sometimes try to make sure that no one has started a discussion similar to mine before I start them but, I didn't with this one! Oops! I hope I didn't end up stepping on anyone's toes!
But, you still haven't managed to get that stuck in my noggin! But, if you did, it would have been ok! It was a favorite when I was younger! LOL!
Gavin Degraw is in my noggin right now because I just saw his video for I'm in love with a girl. That one might stick with me until I go to sleep.

Man cortjo, for days now ever since I watch Casablanca and An Affair to Remember all I have had stuck in my head is the song "AS time goes by". I even did a dang discussion about it thinking it would render the song quiet but NAY!! Days I tell you humming and singing and my family telling me to stop already and I can't!

I know what you mean, ugh I watched an Affair to remember the other day and that can be extrememly annoying, there were a few other songs from that movie that got stuck in my mind, great movie, but if you get those songs stuck in your head they are impossible to get out. Took me awhile but it eventually leaves.

Have you tried replacing it with another song? Pull out one of your favorite CD's or the radio and see if you can't change the station in your head! LOL1 I had Miley Cyrus in my head for what seemed like forever, maybe a week or more, during and after my niece visited. Ugh! I wanted to tear my brain out by the time it finally let go of its hold on me! LOL!

At the moment I have "What becomes of the Broken Hearted" by Jimmy ruffin stuck in my head, earlier it was "Where the colors don't go" by Sam Phillips. I love both songs. I have a very varied taste in music. I heard the second one on Gilmore Girls the other day, and there it had stayed until recently. I heard the first one I mentioned on this music station we have on our TV. I originally heard it on General Hospitals Night Shift like a year ago. Anything I hear on a TV show has a tendency to get stuck in my head. I once had the toilet paper song stuck in my head. That was not one I wanted there. Or the K9 Advantage song...again not one I welcomed. This may be why I watch less TV now lol.

which one? The "There ain't no bugs on me"? or the "hello mother hello father"? I have had both lol. Me and my niece who is like 4 yrs younger than me were going around singing all the words to those songs, we were driving people nuts lol. They are so catchy though, but I think that's the point, they want to sell their products.

yes, I have something in my mind... The title of the song is "Mamimiss kita" (I will miss you in English). It is a Tagalog song from one of the band here in the Philippines. My boyfriend dedicated that to me since he will be leaving this month to work abroad.... I like it but it makes my heart miss him more and more...

I have this song got stuck in my head. Since I started watching the show The O.C. it never get rid off my head, it's called "I'm shakin'" by The Rooney. It's a cool song and I can listen to it over and over again. I even sometimes sing the song not noticing it. It's fun and great cuz I feel dancing and I feel good hearing it in my head. =D

LOL! I can't recall that song. But, I know how it feels to like a song that is stuck in your head and it just makes you want to dance and sing along to it! LOL! I felt like that yesterday! But, today I am stuck trying to shake a new Mariah Carey song from my head! LOL! Ugh! I have no desire to have that one in my head. Nor do I want to sing, whistle or hum to it. And, I most definitely don't want to dance to it! LOL

Oh man I have one stuck in my head that is just killing me. I have not seen the movie but it is from Alvin and the chipmuncks i think its called christmass time. My kids wont stop singing it and yes they do try and sound like them. It was cute at first but now its annoying.

Oh My God! I remember that song! I had that on an album when I was a kid! LOL! I can hear it right now and I can hear it exactly as they sang it! LOL! Wow! I remember it fondly! My brother and sister and I must have driven my parents crazy playing that album during Christmas time! LOL!

I was a HUGE NKOTB fan when I was younger. The were a big hit when I was in school 
. I've heard the song now-- but I have to say it's not one of my favorites. I do wish them well however.
The one that is in my head is Kid Rock's new one. Singing Sweet Home Alabama all summer long. (I'm not sure the name) but I can't seem to get it out of my head. I was singing it last night at the softball game.

Right now, as soon as I read your post.... I had "Good Morning Starshine...the Earth says Hello..."
I don't mind that song at all...
But, I can remember a time when I got stuck for almost a half hour in the ride: "It's a Small World After All" and had to hear that song over and over again... It was horrible as I kept on hearing it even after I escaped that ride.
There used to also be a song on Lampchop, a children's program, that was "the song that never ends.." It was annoying.
Another song that gets into the mind is "I love you.. You love me" from Barney. Most mothers have heard that one.

As a kid I loved Lamb Chop, I still know all the words to that song, I used to drive my parents crazy singing that, but I totally agree with you that it gets annoying along with Barney. Oh I would go crazy if I got stuck on the it's a small world ride, I know how annoying that song gets, when I got off that ride I was done with it, and had no desire to ever ride it again, but it seems to be one of those rides that everyone needs to ride at least once when at walt disney world.

LOL! I don't remember how the Lamb Chop song goes but, I do remember the Barney song from when he was first out and really popular! LOL! I remember all the commercials and the skits on parody shows. LOL!

I was talking to P1ke about his Panama hat and started singing that song..Tan shoes with pink shoelaces a polka dot vest and man oh man he wore tan shoes with pink shoelaces a big panama with a purple hat band...

LOL! I can't remember that one! LOL! So, fortunately, you have not changed the radio station to a new song in my head! But, I have moved on from my previous song of Summertime by NKOTB to "I'm in Love with a Girl" by Gavin Degraw. I think that is the name. LOL! I like it though so all is well! LOL!

I've got Michael Bolton's Said I Love You But I Lied. The song is really awesome. I first listened to this song several years ago. It blew me off then!

The song that I have in my head and is constantly getting stuck in my head when I hear it is that stupid song from credit report.com eeeeesh I hear it almost every day then I carry it in my head, just when I get it out of my head here comes the commercial and back in my head it goes.

Yesterday while I was on my way to the gym, I was listening to Mary J. Blige's "Be Happy". I turned it off when I got to the gym but then I noticed I started humming the tune as I prepared myself for cardio. I don't have that song on my Ipod nor in my CD collection. This morning I woke up and BAM! like a bad habit it's there... in the back of my mind.. almost like a soundtrack lol.

I haven't heard that song yet...to my knowledge. LOL! I am not a big Mary J. Blige fan so, I don't know that I would know it was her if I had heard it!
I hate it when I hear a song that I don't like and it gets stuck in my head. The Miley Cyrus song got stuck in my head for about a week once because my niece was visiting and she kept singing it over and over again! Ugh! I wanted to knock myself out to break that freaking radio in my head! LOL!

Luckily I don't have any songs stuck in my head right now. That drives me nuts when that happens what I really hate is when you get a song stuck in your head that you really don't know the words to! That is horrible!

LOL! You are probably lucky! I seem to never be without a song in my head! I even dream songs! I do have the new release by Gavin Degraw "I'm in love with the girl" in my head now and, all I can remember about it is that part of it...the title! LOL! But, I like it so, it isn't bothering me even though I am stuck on that title! LOL!
Oh...I think the radio station may have just changed as I am hearing the NKOTB song again! Wow! I have sort of a wacky radio station playing up there right now. It can't decide what it wants me to listen to! LOL!

I know the song from the movie "Shrek", it's so good! Especially the part at 01:29. When I'm listening to it, I feel so good-mooded.

I like that song too! But, I can't remember it right now. I do know that I know it though! I would just need to hear it again to bring it back.
But, with the kind of back and forth station I have going on inside my head right now, what with me switching from NKOTB to Gaving Degraw and "I'm in love with the girl" and then back to NKOTB, it is probably good I can't remember that song and add one more song to my already crowded head! LOL!
