I urgently need some new music to drive away my boredom.. My genre: i like acoustic and piano songs with high voices, not to slow. Some examples: Dashboard confessional, Soko, Paramore, Silverstein, The Kooks... Does anyone knows good songs?

Well, I don't know if you like love songs, but I actually posted an odd collection of unusual indie/strange love songs that could have something you might like: http://www.itmightbelove.com/2008/05/04/an-odd-collection-of-100-unpopular-love-songs/ Do you like ben folds five or tori amos? How about the Hush Sound or the Weepies? Maybe some bright eyes? There's lots of bands to choose from on my playlist - so even if you don't dig the love song aspect, maybe you'll find something there you like! Let me know if that helps!!

Dude I suggest you listen to nirvana. They're cool. Kurt Cobain's voice is good. Listen to their song smells like teen spirit.

I like nirvana, but it's not my favourite sorry.. I think nirvana's music is great in his genre, but it's a bit too chaotic for me..

Scouting for Girls, Justin Nozuka, The Pillows, Incubus, Angels and airwaves, flyleaf, Duffy, lights, gnarls barkley, Hellogoodbye, brighteyes, snowpatrol, Keane and vampire weekend are all artists you might like. :] I'm pretty sure all of them have myspace pages. xD

Ever listen to Jimmy Eat World? I think that fits your criteria pretty well. And Panic! At The Disco. About eight months ago I got into Brand New. I don't know why I never really checked them out before. Also, try looking around online for new artists. I've found websites where you can type in an artists you like and then fnid other artists that are similar. And some sites have the audio right on the page for you to listen to.

Of course I listen to them, all the groups you mentioned are very popular here in Belgium. Brand New I know less, but I'm going to check them out right now :)
