Tracking your myLot earnings.

Don't you wish you could track your daily myLot earnings? Lets say you wanted to earn .50 or even higher for one day of posting and responding, myLot needs a meter to show you how much you've earned while you're on-line. If they had this great tool would you set a daily goal and strive to meet it? I would, I'd set it and start the madness. I'm sure they could create some great contests or even award those who exceed a set goal. Think its a good idea? Let me know.

I think that would be a great idea! Sometimes I get a little confused about what to do to make how much. Sometimes I bust it and really work hard to get just a few cents and sometimes I just jab in a few posts and make alot! Having that meter there would really help me to say...ok, we almost have 100 posts in..go! Contest would be cool too!
Mylot, to me, is so sweet that I would still come here with or without contests. So many interesting people here!

True kingcrapper, and you're one of them. I thought you had taken a trip to Mars, hadn't heard from you in a while. Maybe I'll suggest this idea to the mastermind behind myLot, couldn't hurt.

It has been awhile. My computer was out and the server at work blocks a lot of things like this. Summer is almost here. Got any big plans?

I think that sounds like an excellent idea. Even though Im pretty new here and still trying to learn all the ropes, something like that would help me to know where I stand.

Welcome to myLot. I think it would to, it would be a good selling point to those who needed a guide.

It would be nice to be able to track exactly how much I earn, when, where, how and why, but for now I've figured out that if I pos 75 responses a day, I'm liable to make atleast $1. I'm happy with that for now, but I wouldn't say no to a better way to track earnings.

That would be a pretty nice feature to have hear on Mylot. But than again it could just lead to more complaining when peoples earnings go down due to deletions. Id personally love to see what im making each day as I go.

I understand, there would need to be rules applied that have maybe been lax thus so far. I'm not talking about censorship but creating a place where its known that you can give and get without restrictions.

I had not even thought of that...it would be really great! I would definitely use it as a tool to gage what I needed to do to meet my daily goals. And you are right, the contest ideas would be numerous also, and another great idea! Maybe they will read this discussion and implement something similar!

I don't mind when big brother is listening, it's just when little sister is tattling that I get upset. :)

Yes I have said this before that if there was something that you wanted to add here what would it be and I said I wish they would show you how much you would make in one day before the deadline like keep track of your post then added it to my lot earnings. For one thing I hate waiting for the next day lol especially when I know I did well. And if im a few cents off from $1 then I would love to know so I can reach it.

I agree, it would help people set goals and then try to beat them, its a win win for myLot. I don't think it would deter people from staying on myLot longer than they normally do, I think it would be beneficial for everybody.

I definitely agree with this idea. It will not just make us aware of how we make each day but it will also motivate us to do more and contribute more good ideas to the site. I hope mylot will do this...this will bring back all those inactive members from way back. Actually Ive been in a hiatus in mylot since sometimes the atmosphere are becoming boring.

definitely an advantage especially to those new comer since lots of them are asking of how mylot do the process of computing our earnings. I have encountered lots of problems in this site, and yeah I'm so used to that problem of making lots of post and then just get few cents then there are days when I just make a very few post and get a big pay...honestly I'd like hat meter idea you have.. just to clear things.

Well its summmer so maybe the atmosphere will grow or be the same as you see it right now. I think it would motivate some of us, there are times when I get a few cents a day and then I get a lot more, a meter that shows you what you earn would be an advantage to those here and those who are referred.

Good point, but it could be a tool to help track those who are playing by the rules.

I think you idea is very innovative but it won't be a good strategy from mylot's perspective. Suppose a user see a live meter of his earning he will become more greedy and will go for money instead of posting some meaningful response. Users main motto will be to make money not good discussions. But I do agrree that we mylot users do face problem of setting goals on mylot because earnings fluctuate.

Yes, you are right they do fluctuate. you should get best response here, because it does fluctuate. Earnings and points.

I've taken that into consideration, I know that people would post just anything to get money but it would come down to the people who actually want to have a discussion with other myLotters that would make the difference. I know that earnings would fluctuate but at least you could see what you were earning as you went along.

I kind of do track my earnings. I spent all month with a log. I wrote down each day what I started with, what I left with, how many that was, and then in the morning what my earnings were at and how much I actually made the day before. So I know about how many I need to do each day and each week to reach my monthly goals.

I might have you help me on this project then. But do you think it would be easier for myLot to assist in that daily tasks?

Blimey, you're efficient! It's good idea though, if you're driven enough to keep up with it. I've only been here a week so i'm still just getting to grips with the whole site but if you have set yourself a goal then I guess that's as practical a way as any to keep track of where you are with it.

Yeah that would be an awesome idea, that way you know whether you're getting the most of what you're working for for that day.
With the awards or contest, it will be another way to attract myLotters to post or respond to discussions. but, with or without it, I'd still be here.. =)

You have thought something really great and would not only be useful for the users but could also lead to heigher traffic for the site. you have really thought somethng out of the box and need a word of appreciaton by the members out here.

Your comment is appreciation, thanks. Tell other about the idea if you would, I'd like to get as many responses as possible so I could have some data to back it up when I present it to myLot.

Just be on here all day, I am sure you will get 50 cents or more. The most I made here in a day this month was 63 cents, but I was here a long time. Have a great day!

I'm sure that myLot would love you set this site as your homepage and that's fine if you do, but I'd rather know what my earnings were and add a bit each day, or a lot, at least I'd know as I was on the site.

I think that it's a great idea too.. At least it will motivate ple to post and respond more.. And also, even those topics that they are not interested in, maybe due to the earnings tracker, they will find out more and respond to it.. SO in a way, it's also adding to our knowlegde about things ^_^ hehe
