celia_ Honestly? It depends what mood I'm in! Overall I accept my body with it's imperfections.
On good days I look in the mirror and think 'yup, I've still got it.' I enjoy my day and the opportunities that wait for me.
On bad days I look at the same girl in the mirror and find faults everywhere. Thoughts like that affects my entire day and the way I experience the world, in a negative manner.
If I can, I stay home until the mood passes!

I guess those mood swings are all in part of being a woman. At least you can still be satisfied with the person in the mirror. Thank you so much anawar!

i am used to myself. i always thought i was ok looking. i never wanted to change myself in the first place. i always worked out to make my body in better shape, and when i wear makeup, my face looks better. my hair is fine, but i am getting used to my fine hair. i used to wish it was a little thicker, but i dont care anymore. i can make my hair look thicker with certain shampoo and products.

Now I am happy the way I am as I have managed to change it and that is to stop with a Husband who for 21 Years put me through Mental abuse
I now have the most loving caring Man anyone could ask for
The only thing I would like to change if I could is to be Healthy again, active again, like I was 6 Years ago but that will never happen so I have to accept that

I'm glad to see there is light at the end of the tunnel. I grew up in a mentally and physically abusive household. So distinguishing between what i've been told is wrong about me vs. what I know could be changed is a difficult task. I'm enjoy hearing that you can accept the changes of life for yourself too.

yes i love being me. i am a single mom of four children and so far so good. before when we are still living with my husband i am longing to change the life we had. he was a very abbusive person who hurts us physically and emotionally. now that we are over that stage we are happily living. we left him, i tagged along my children. about my own skin... yes i am proud of being a Filipina ( i am from the Philippines).

Well that is different Bestie! Just make sure that you are making the changes for yourself and not someone else or society.

Hello Celia4evr, I'm happy with myself to a point, but there's always room for improvement. I would like to be able gain a few pounds for starters, be a bit taller if I could. I accept myself for myself and thats whats really important to me. What about you? Is there something you would like to change?
Yours truly, Tianna

Well after childbirth things could use a little fixing up. But i'm growing to accept all of this because it makes me the good mother I am today! Tianna2 i'm glad that you love who you are even though you can acknowledge that some improvements can be made.

I find that if you spend too much time worrying about the things you don't like. You won't be able to appreciate the good attributes until they are gone. I know deep down we all would like to change something. But sometimes when we love who we are it makes us so much more radiant. For all those things you can do somethings about, just work on it!
