Are You Somehow Irritated When Someone Here Calls You By Your First Name?

Situation is, you are not friends yet or this is the first time you have encountered this fellow Mylotter. But whenever he/she replies to your posts, They will end the response by writing your name. I am guilty of this, very much, because I usually write the profile name or the real name, if given, after each post. I thought it would be kinda a personalized comment and not just a repetition of what others usually writes. Would you be offended? Are you the one who doesn't care? Or it is much better that way? Please share your thoughts..

Hello Eihdra, I always start my post by saying hello or hi to the person I'm responding to.
I wouldnt be offended if someone wanted to personalize there posts, seems like kind of a friendly gesture to me. At least that way I know that you know who your talking to.
Yours truly, Tianna

No, I don't feel offended at all. Calling by first name is a sign of friendliness. That's perfectly alright for me. For example, would you be offended if I called you "eihdra" ?
Best regards.

I don't mind at all. People have different ways of showing their respects and greetings. As long as I like the idea and message in their comment.

Hi eihdra! I dont see any problems with calling people by their first name. I love people calling me by my first name.
I have nothing to hide. Names are meant to be used for people to identify us from the rest - individuality.

hi eihdra,
i don't have my real name on my profile. that's the reason i have a user name-go ahead and use that-i think that does personalize responses-but it's fine either way with me.

As for me, no problem with that...after all my name is the sweetest name to my ear. I find nothing offending should I read my name being written in answer to my post and in fact I find it quite sweet and friendly! So if you answer my post, go and write my name by all means.
Happy posting!
